I'm not sure why this situation is bothering me so much, but it has been on my mind for days, and I can't seem to shake it. I guess I'm looking for feedback, whether positive or critical.
Here's what happened. I traveled with two coworkers for a conference that was out of state. One night, we went out to a restaurant and sat at the bar. It was mid-week, if that matters. While adjusting myself on the barstool, I accidentally bumped a woman sitting next to me. We made eye contact, so I apologized, saying something like, "Sorry for the manspreading. I'll be more careful."
She wasn't upset by it and asked me where I was from, which started a conversation. I've replayed the conversation and can't pinpoint anything that could have come across as flirty. Most of our chat was about regional accents (ours are different).
After a few minutes of chatting, she asked if I had kids. I answered truthfully that I do, and then she asked if I was married. Again, I answered honestly that I am. Naturally, I asked her the same questions in return.
At this point, her demeanor shifted, she seemed upset or maybe annoyed is a better way to describe it. Then she asked why I wasn’t wearing a wedding ring. I remember feeling confused because I didn’t see why it mattered.
Looking back, I think I stammered but I told her the truth but kept it simple: "It's too big for me and I don't want to wear it."
She stared at me for a few seconds, then turned back to her friends without another word. It was abrupt and left me feeling like I did something wrong.
Now, I’m left wondering. Was I wrong (AITA) for not volunteering my relationship status earlier or even for not wearing my wedding ring?
If I get a few drinks in me I get chatty and I enjoy talking to anyone and everyone around me. Declaring my relationship status at the start of a conversation with a woman has never been a thought in my head.
Quite honestly, I don't want to do this. It seems silly when all anyone is doing is normal conversation. I know what to say and do if things move to an uncomfortable\inappropriate (for a married person, that is) place. My attitude may also make me the a-hole though too. Should I be considering finding a way to intertwine this early into a conversation going forward?
For the curious, the reason I don't wear my ring is that I lost weight, and the ring no longer fits. The ring is made of a metal that can’t be resized, and it easily slips off. I've tried those ring sizers, but they make the ring too tight, and it becomes hard to remove. I have never considered buying a "placeholder" ring.

Hello! I decided to finally make the change from the Apple Watch to a Garmin (AW battery life was killing me) and was wondering how smooth the Spotify app is on the vivoactive. Watched a few tutorials and seems like I first have to sync my playlists on Spotify to listen to them offline when I‘m running.
The problem is I add/delete songs on my running playlist every 2-3 weeks. Do I need to go through the syncing process everytime I edit my playlist? Or would the watch automatically update the playlist when connected to my phone?
