2024.11.25 17:29 faetrapboy I accidentally wore eyeliner out. Everyone definitely noticed.
I'm masculine presenting but I like make-up and girly things. Usually I experiment with different looks before I shower, but yesterday I spent a little too long on it. I was in a hurry and I thought I got it all off. I didn't.
I thought everyone was looking at me weird. Guys were giving me dirty looks, women kept starting. It wasn't until I went to the bathroom that I saw.. The waterproof eyeliner that I didn't have any way to remove, was still on my eyes. I don't carry around make-up stuff. So I had to go back out, knowing full well that I'm wearing my embarrassing hobby on my face.
I don't know if it's guilt or embarrassment, maybe both, but I'm pretty sure I permanently changed how everyone thinks of me and I'm terrified they'll think I'm a pervert.

Ex and I have been broken up with for coming up to 3 months. First month we kept contact and she realized she could do whatever and I’d be there for her in a heartbeat, at the cost of my own pain.
It’s been a month now of full no contact, brought on by me because of some actions she did that finally pushed me to my limits. I ended up seeing other people since, and am always 100% transparent with them that I’m not fully over my ex and I’m not looking for anything deep.
At first, she was all I could think about. I couldn’t enjoy anything without her. But after a few times, and realizing that I need to start living for me and not her, i began having fun. She was the only person I’d been with before, and I could not fathom liking anyone else. The others I’ve been getting with I’ve felt nothing for and have been up front that nothing deeper is ever going to happen between us and everyone is content.
Now I have a crush on a guy after thinking I was never going to have another crush again. (I’ve been honest with him and he has with me). Every time I think about it, I want to throw up because this wasn’t the plan (😅) But myself comes first and I’m not going to jump into a new relationship. There’s stuff I need to work on. There’s also the chance my ex and I may reconnect. I’m keeping every part of me open to this shit called life.
TLDR: sometimes you genuinely do just need to push yourself out there. STAY SAFE THOUGH. Don’t hold yourself back because you are hoping they’ll come back. They may, but during this time, work on yourself, whichever way that means for you.
