2024.11.25 17:22 Lighting Can anyone help me find Texas' **standard** ICD-10 maternal mortality rates? It looks like Texas has stopped reporting it.

There is an US and international standard for measuring maternal mortality rates (MMR). It's known as the ICD-10 standards.
The US adopted the ICD-10 standard for maternal mortality rates (as did countries around the world following the WHO standard) in about 2000. (citation below)
The rollout of that MMR standard in the US started in about 2000 and finished in all 50 states in about 2017. Texas implemented the international standard in 2006. (citation below)
Some called it "the checkbox" change. Because Texas already had a checkbox for tracking pregnancy on coroners reports (pregnant within a 365 days of death) , when Texas adopted the ICD-10 standard (pregnant within a 42 days of death) this "checkbox change" LOWERED reported standard maternal mortality rates in Texas. (citation below)
This "checkbox caused the change myth" is really important to debunk, so I'll say it again. The "checkbox change" in Texas happened in 2006. Loooooooong before their MMR skyrocketed. If you see someone making the statement "the checkbox caused the MMR to increase" you can point them to numerous sources that state that
- the standards of measurement of MMR were UNCHANGED DURING the rise of 2011-2013
- the "checkbox change" happened in 2006 which was YEARS BEFORE the rise in MMR in 2011-2013
These mom-death rates got so bad in Texas that in 2018 Texas did what some are calling an "unethical cover up" and changed the definition of maternal mortality rates and started releasing a new "enhanced method" but NOT backdating to before the rise. (citation below)
Shockingly, in Texas' last data release, Texas dropped the standard ICD-10 rate numbers.
Does anyone have access to the ICD-10 standard maternal mortality rate data in Texas? Here's the website for the Texas MMR group and we note the next meeting for the TX Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee is Friday, December 6 in Room M-100 of the Robert Moreton Building at the DSHS Campus in Austin.

Aparece que não tem driver de som instalado, mas baixei o Driver Booster e no programa diz que tem sim, tentei atualizar os driversbpor lá e mesmo nada, agora desinstalei pra tentar instalar e ver se funciona. Alguém sabe como consigo achar os drivers e instala-los? Helpppp

Buying a renovated victorian end of terrace - long story short, our searches came back and found out there was structural work we hadn't been made aware of before we had our offer accepted and started the sale - "Resin Ground Stabilisation under Bay Window" and "Lateral Straps along the side elevation of the property." is this a red flag? we are FTB so this wont be our forver home, but these seem like fairly major works and I am worried it spells trouble for the maintenance of the house and insurance, and re-selling a few years down the line. Am I worrying over nothing?

Found cat in Lexington
I found a deceased cat in the intersection of Newtown Pike and Haskins Dr around 11 pm tonight. It was blonde/buff with a bushy tail and not fixed. I think it was male but am not 100% sure. It had no collar but appeared very well fed and groomed. I took it to Bluegrass Animal Emergency on Winchester Rd where they’re keeping the body while we see if we can find an owner. It may have been a stray but looked very well cared for. If you know of anyone in the area missing a kitty who matches his description please let me know :(

Moinsen ihr Cuties! Ich dachte mir, dass wir hier vielleicht mal sammeln könnten, was wir alles so für vegane Stände/Leckereien auf den Weihnachtsmärkten unserer Städte gefunden haben.
Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ihr eure Funde teilt. Vielleicht findet so ja jemand die Lust, doch den Weihnachtsmarkt zu besuchen und dann können wir mehr Reichweite und Umsatz generieren, damit das Angebot größer wird! <3
Ich fange hier mal ganz frech mit Kiel an und werde weiteres hinzufügen, wenn ich mehr Infos habe oder mehr entdecke :D
Süßes: -Crepes (zu finden auf der Holtenauer auf dem Sägespänenplatz linke Seite) Es gibt 5 Sorten, erinnern tue ich mich noch an Konfitüre, Bionella, Zimt-Zucker und Banane. Kostenechnisch sind es zwischen 4,50€ und 5,50€. Insgesamt etwas teurer als die nicht-veganen.
Herzhaft: -gebackenes Gemüse (zu finden auf der Holtenauer auf dem Sägespänenplatz linke Seite) Es gibt Blumenkohl, Pilze, Brokkoli, Zucchini und Aubergine (vielleicht auch mehr). Eine Tüte kostet meine ich 6€ und man bekommt noch ne Sauce dazu glaube ich. Letztes Jahr gab es Kräutersauce und Knobisauce. Dieses Jahr aber noch nicht gekauft -veganer Burger (zu finden auf dem Rathausplatz, linker Weg und dann an der Ecke) Green Oat Patty mit Avocadocreme, Rucola, Tomate und karamellisierten Walnüssen für 9,50€. War sehr sehr lecker! Die Pattys werden getrennt von den Fleischpattys im Airfryer zubereitet.
Anderes/Geschenke: -Seife (zu finden auf dem Rathausplatz) Vegane Seife in süßen Formen. Da gibt es auch Kerzen, aber ob die vegan sind, muss ich noch erfragen. Die Seifen kosten zwischen 4,50€ und 7,50€, wenn ich es richtig in Erinnerung habe.
Ich werde Angaben ergänzen und nochmal überprüfen, wenn ich das nächste Mal rübergehe :D Potentiell fahre ich auch noch auf den Lübecker Weihnachtsmarkt, da werde ich dann auch noch was zu schreiben :3

The 1080ti has been incredible but its now saddly starting to chug, kinda on its last legs. I'm Donating this PC to the GF to spend its sunset days playing Sims 4.
So, after selling Doge on this last crypto pump I've got cash to play with, a specific budget is looking at £2750 to max £3k.
Things I've loved about my current PC is that it has just worked, for nearly 10 years. Without much fiddling around. The The EVGA GPU 1080ti hyrbrid having its own in built water cooling is something I'd love to replicate again, same with the cpu cooler.
The only thing I've recently installed is an m.2 drive. I'm thinking memory wise for this one: big SSD, and something like a 4TB m.2. ?
The purposes of this PC is firstly Gaming /VR Gaming and Editing 4k videos - secondly is hobby 3D animation . - so thinking 32GB of DDR5 ?
I'm looking to move over to team RED this time and go with a good AMD CPU, mounted onto a Mobo thats got plently of usb slots, which supports PCIe Gen 5 and DDR5, Wifi 6 - all the new goodies.
Put together with a 4080 super / 4090 .
Monitor I currently have, is AGON AG271QG 27" 1440p 144hz - this is guna change to a 32" eventually.
I want a PSU with some over head, so that if new GPUs does come out in the next few years with "Ray Tracing Mk2" I don't potentially have to gut the PC to replace the GPU.
P.S> I'd love the CPU cooler to be one where you can put gifs on it, just so I can have a lil' Doge boi waving at me telling my i'm a paper handed POS for selling too early.
TLDR;
- Budget: £2750–£3000.
- Priorities: High performance for gaming (inc. VR), 4K video editing, and hobby 3D animation.
- AMD CPU (good, reliable, DDR5 and PCIe Gen 5 support on motherboard, lots of USB slots).
- GPU: 4080 Super or 4090.
- Memory: 32GB DDR5.
- Storage: Large SSD + 4TB M.2.

- Wants a reliable system like the last one, built to last ~10 years.
