Countless websites and apps do this bullshit. "We changed something so here's a forced pop up and interaction you have to do just to use the app." If I wanted to learn about or use your new feature I would. I dont want to. I'm just trying to use your shit like normal and you're making it difficult by not allowing me to click on anything until I acknowledge that you changed something. I don't give a fuck. Let me use your shit and go fuck yourself. Then the constant reminders of shit that impede functionality or use. Do you want notifications? No. Are you sure? Yes. Are you really sure? YES. I am trying to think of the best way to express this.
So, I have considered myself a musician since I picked up a guitar over 20 years ago. When I was a teen, I played in metal bands and going to shows was my thing. There was always a social aspect to it, and sometimes that social aspect actually got in the way of music. Throughout my 20's, I did not want to be in bands, but I wanted to do my own thing. I still loved music and playing, and I eventually went to get a Bachelor of Music, with a focus in audio production and engineering. That was in my late 20's. I never stopped trying to work on my writing though. I always hoped that I could do my own thing, do it well, and release something on my own. I released my first solo music at the end of 2019 as part of my senior project. After that, I started working on material for my next release.
I was a music teacher for a few years in my early 30's. I taught audio production and mixing, writing, and instrument lessons at a private high school, as well as a private studio. I also did a small amount of freelance engineering and mixing, but it was difficult to get any attention, for various reasons. After a while, I started noticing that I didn't even want to listen to music on my commutes anymore. I thought, I have been listening to music all day and I want a break. But I started getting tired of writing too. I mean, I was having to essentially write with (read: for) students so that they could finish their assignments, and I was frustrated that I had to spend up my writing time on someone else's music rather than mine. I was also starting to experience ulnar nerve issues that made it uncomfortable to play and teach, and those issues plagued me for about a year. I eventually wanted to stop trying to make money with music at all, and I was able to pivot to the IT field.
So after I stopped working with music, I thought that I could get back to normal. I was finally able to release another EP that I had been working on whenever I could for four years. It was a lot of work and it pushed my limits in regards to technical guitar skill and mixing/mastering skill. I felt like this was the furthest manifestation of a writing style that I had been trying to achieve for many years, personally. I had no fanbase from the last release and I did try to drum up some hype for my release by trying to do social media stuff. The attention has been minimal, which I expected, but that's kind of not the point.
But now, I don't feel like writing in this style anymore. In fact, I don't feel like I have any reason to write anymore. I kind of don't even want to listen to music. I've been listening to music for so long as a means of working on my own music. I'm not sure if I remember how to listen to music just for enjoyment. I don't feel like committing to a band. I don't know what to do with myself. I feel so lost. I have so much that I could say, but I've already said so much. If you got this far, thank you for reading. I would like to get some advice and insight from folks that have dealt with this. I am struggling.

My current setup is a Thrustmaster TMX with the stock pedals on PC, I'm stuck between if I should buy a handbrake module or upgrade my pedals to something with a clutch, like T3PA or T3PM so I can drift my car. Basically, I'm asking if it's better to drift via clutch kicking or handbraking. I've tried drifting through oversteering since that's all my setup can do, but I can't get the hang of it. I'd get both handbrake and pedals but that's not really in my budget.

Hi all.
I smoked heavily for about 20 years -- 18ish to 38ish. By the end, I was going through an ounce or more a week. I quit 2 years ago.
Until I relapsed this August. For about a month, I was using a vape on a daily basis. Didn't come close to my former usage, but fell hard into habitual and chronic use. By the end of the relapse was feeling miserable and remembering all the reasons why I quit. The worst part, or at least what I feel guiltiest about, is that I did it entirely secretly. Not even my wife knew I had relapsed.
So I got sober again in mid-September, including all of the hot flashes, cold sweats, disappeared appetite, and everything else. And now, almost 2.5 months later, I'm still testing positive. As a result, I can't get my ADHD meds filled, and I can't even tell my wife why. I was going to play it off as forgetfulness, but it's starting to wear thin.
My theory is that somehow because I used so heavily for so long, my body is just holding onto the THC as long as it can. I don't know, I'm not a doctor. All I know is this sucks, I really screwed up, and now I have a clearer idea than ever of how important it is for me to stay sober.
Let this be a warning - whatever your addict-brain is telling you, relapse will not be worth it.

I viewed a flat today and noticed some mould around the window frames and possible damp. The flat has been tenanted for a couple years, and the boiler wasn’t on during the viewing. I think the tenants haven’t been using the heating or ventilating properly. The mould is only in small areas where you’d expect condensation, and there’s no sign of damp elsewhere.
The flat itself is lovely but has some wear and tear, like hot pan marks on the countertop and scratches on the flooring. It’s clear it was well cared for when the owner lived there.
Should small amounts of mould be a deal breaker?

Spoke to a rep form microcenter while i was buying a 3D Printer and told him I was looking to build a PC around a 4080 Super. Asked what he would recommend and he gave me the above.
Wanted to see what you guys think.
My current budget is 2500 for a PC that will last me atleast 5 years.
Primarily I used it for content creation, video editing in premiere pro, and gaming at 1440p and sometimes 4k. (bought an LG c2 42 in prep for this build)
Any help optimizing this would be much appreciated, or if there are any better builds they're more than welcome. Thanks!
