I decided to update Mikumo’s quirk a little bit but now I’m having trouble figuring out what support items he can use, and if he needs more weaknesses. Any ideas? Here’s the quirk!
Quirk function: Transmutation allows Mikumo to copy and transform quirks through touch alone by having all five fingers on their skin. Once he’s touched a person, the hole in his palm will open up and a dark red aura will cover his hand. From there, he can pull your quirk into himself, indicated by the aura getting brighter, and it will be transformed into a new quirk for him to use the next time he decides to try out his newly formed quirk.
Quirk abilities: upon touching a person skin to skin with all five fingers, the line on the center of Mikumo’s palm will open up to reveal a mouth that has dark red aura seeping out of it. This aura saps away at a quirk’s natural factor and twists it into something else. The aura steadily changes into the color of the quirk it’s copying. (An example could be recovery girl’s quirk, the dark red aura turns green).
Quirk weaknesses and drawbacks: despite having variants of the original quirk, he has to sacrifice something from the original to create the new version such as sacrificing speed for range in a flying quirk. Though he can turn off any mutations he copies, there will always be a vestigial trait left behind that cannot be removed. He also cannot use more than three quirks at a time and typically has to wait four minutes to copy another quirk if he’s already copied one and is quirkless until those four minutes are up.

hi! me and my gf have been long distance for a year now. we’ve met up twice, once in rome with my mum in an airbnb (she’s from italy) so we made our own food and then in london (where im from) and that was fine obviously. i have a severe peanut and tree nut allergy. i also have about 8 epi pens.
however, she wants me to go to her house in calabria, italy and id love to go too but her parents don’t speak any English. she said that her mum will know about my allergy and she can translate anything for me. but i’m still really anxious about it, i have a lot of anxiety surrounding my allergy and have been in therapy for it and clearly need to go back. i’m sure she would take great care of me and look out for me.
is this safe and im just overthinking it? eating at her house would obviously be more safe than eating at a restaurant. i will buy some allergy cards too. for some reason im just afraid of them slipping up or missing something. the hospital is also 37 minutes away as well.
what should i do? if it’s safer to not go then i will have to talk to her and come up with some options. let me know if im worrying over nothing tho haha

I'm a language and geopolitics enthusiast, so I excel in 3 languages and I'm learning 3 more, one of those are Russian. When I installed the game I was open to the ideas of socialism but I wasn't a commie. Since I've started playing for real with a lot of propaganda, those who displayed the strength, the work, the union of the people really got to me. Weeks later, I could differ socialist leaders and ideologies, American propaganda and Soviet, heck I even got work-indulcing and sino-soviet posters around my room, I know the USSR Anthem and it's history, it's weakness and strengths and I could consider myself socialist if was into labeling.

hi guys, i’ve had anxiety for years and get panic attacks pretty regularly. I have all of the textbook symptoms, chest pains, heart palps, shortness of breath, shoulder pain, and calf pain. These are symptoms of anxiety and also signs of heart attack. I know it’s normal for anxiety to show itself through physical symptoms, but it’s causing my health anxiety to go through the roof and it’s really affecting my day to day life.
I guess my big thing is that I feel like i have the sense of impending doom and my body is trying to tell me i’m going to end up having a heart attack. i’ve been having these symptoms for months so i like to think it would’ve happened by now, but i asked Dr. google (my best friend and my worst enemy) and it said ppl can have signs and symptoms leading up to a heart attack for months before they have it, especially in women (i am a woman).
Idk if this makes sense or not. thx for listening

Going to save you the nitty-gritty, but the long and short: I just got a really bad midterm grade, bad enough that it will all but certainly give me a C in this class, something that (even though it's one test and one class) would preclude me from being able to get a decent job after grad in my home state and be able to pay off my loan debt (context for non-law students: Law school career pipelines are very structured and rigid, so, since I'll be looking at jobs for 2L summer this spring, my grades this semester will even be affecting my job for summer of 2026, which precipitates down your career pretty quickly).
I'm going to take all of my finals this semester and I'm going to try and do well, but I cannot justify continuing to go into debt if I end the semester this poorly.
I can't find any info from the law school about what withdrawing looks like, and the law school handles things differently from the rest of the U. I don't want to email administration yet, since they'll just send me some sappy "you'll be just fine! You're just stressed :) Cs are ok!" email and tell me to focus on finals.
I'm mostly wondering about if there are fees associated with withdrawing after already registering for next semester's classes, how small of a window I have between grades getting released and the next semester starting, etc.
I'm not trying to complain or be an attention whore, I really do just need to know what my options are and how it'll all work, since I'll need to move fast once it happens.

Hello,
I've come here as a friend, especially as an Ayreon fan. I'm going to be very careful, however, since I'm about to broach a hyper-delicate subject that may destroy my karma forever. 😬
What's so delicate? I'm presenting a project I've been working on for over 5 months now with Udio (music produced by AI) and on which I've certainly spent over a hundred hours. I fully respect those who militate against the use of AI in music, as I myself have an ambivalent relationship with it. On the one hand, it dehumanizes music, but on the other, it democratizes its creation for non-musician people. But don't think it's all a few clicks away. Each song took me an average of 3 to 5 weeks to compose and produce through various creative processes. Just because AI produces the music doesn't mean human effort is non-existent... but it's clearly an incredible enabler.
The genesis of my project came when Udio opened up the possibility of uploading audio for remixing and using it as a creative starting point. So I grabbed my bass, and from the height of my amateurism, composed a short melody which I put into the system. Then I wrote the story, the lyrics using the point of view of an engine technician on a spaceship he's escaping in an escape pod. He tries to convince himself that he's done the right thing, but is wracked with remorse.
Then, instinctively, a story took shape in my mind, and what started out as a simple technical experiment turned into a 71-minute concept album...
I present this album because Ayreon (and especially The Universal Migrator) was my main source of musical inspiration, but I do so in all humility. I make no claim whatsoever to have composed something on a par with what real musicians and composers do. Think of it as a musical “literary novel” that I would never have created without the use of generative AI.

"The Wandering Star" tells the story of a deep space mission gone wrong through the perspectives of its crew members. Each track represents a different character's experience, gradually unveiling the truth behind their mission and the mysterious forces at play.
Set in a future where humanity has expanded beyond Mars, this progressive space metal concept album combines heavy riffs with intricate arrangements to create an immersive sci-fi experience. As the story unfolds, listeners piece together the complex narrative through personal logs, desperate transmissions, and final testimonies of those aboard The Wandering Star.

Hi! Okay guys Ill get straight to it. If someone has the Crucial Pro DDR4 ram sticks if they could measure the height I would be forever grateful!
This is the long version of the story. Currently I have Ballistix ram in my desktop and its great but its 8gb. My uncle got a 16gb kit for me a couple years back unfortunately he got some pretty high profile sticks that did not fit underneath my Phantek cpu cooler! Now I wanna get the Crucial pro 32gb kit cause its on sale! Buuut I don't wanna end up with another set of ram sticks that are too tall. So like I said earlier if someone could either measure their crucial pro sticks or compare and see if they're about the same size as the Ballistix sticks you'd really be helpin this girl out :)

Now, my mom constantly complains that she wants a big retirement party for my father, a celebration with all her friends, as well as a party for their anniversary. She also drops hints repeatedly that she’s lonely and that my dad needs a new computer. She brings this up to me over and over. why is she targeting me? Why isn't she bothering my sister for these things?
Am I the asshole for not throwing my parents a huge party with my own money and buying them a new computer setup for their office? Why am I being targeted to be the one to give these gifts, and not my sister? AMITAH?
