Supposedly people like Younghoon Kim have an IQ of 276. But the highest IQ possible to score on the official MENSA IQ test is 160. Does it mean the MENSA IQ test isn't completely valid in case scenarios when someone's IQ is above 160? Or is 160 the highest possible IQ a human can have?

I planted roses for the first time this year and they get great! I went to a local nursery today and they have 90% off all 3 gallon roses. Iām in southeast Michigan and itās starting to get cold. I want to buy a lot now to save money and have for next spring. Is this feasible? What would be the best way to store them over winter? I appreciate any help! Thanks!

kitten is four months old, got spayed one week ago. saw the vet two days ago because there is a small amount of discharge from the site.. vet put her on antibiotics but said overall it looks okay.
her adopters sent me a photo and said that the crusty scab fell off and want to make sure it looks ok. what do you guys think? i donāt want to worry too much since the vet two days ago said it looks good, but to me it looks slightly open.

I'm currently working in a Lower Westchester district (that rarely hires TAs) as a "special needs monitor". The pay is not great and there are no benefits. Are any DOE schools looking for sub paras? Preferably in the Bronx, Manhattan, or Astoria/LIC.
I have already taken ALL of my workshops, and completed and passed the New York State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills. They are all posted on TEACH. I promise i'm a good worker haha.

2024.11.25 19:31 Medium-Audience5078 Vet Medical Malpractice- Dog lost his entire tail
I need some help with something going on with a vet clinic. I went to an emergency clinic a bit ago due to my dog accidentally closing the door on the very tip of his own tail. My dog is a working line German Shepherd, and he can easily open and close doors. Anyway, I brought him to the emergency clinic and they stated that I should not do conservative treatments first, and that I should amputate a small portion of his tail. I agreed, paid approximately $3,150 for the treatment, and it was done. I noticed something was off afterwords because his tail looked like the top of a top hat. It was completely flat and tight across the bone. There was no muscle layer or anything. The vet said this is how it is done, and it will be fine. It was not fine.
A week and a half later, the skin and stitches came flying off and his bone was completely exposed. He was not playing with his tail, he was chewing on a bone on the sofa when I saw the skin flip open. I brought him back and paid another $1200 for a revision surgery where they had to remove more of his tail. This time there was a ton of swelling, and it was because they failed to cauterize a major artery.
5 days later, the skin died and bone was completely exposed. I brought him back and they were super rude, and charged me $300 to bandage it and told me to go someplace else. Long story short, I got someone else to do it, but due to the subsequent infection and damage caused by the initial vet and his bone exposed, my poor dog lost his whole tail and could have passed away. My dog literally has no tail.
I reached out and explained, with pictures, to the medical director what happened. After 3 weeks (and a follow up email) the director reached out wanting to speak on the phone. My instinct tells me not to, because he does not want written record of the call, and I am in a two party consent state so I cant record the call. Should I ask to keep correspondence in email? Or is it legally alright to do this over the phone? Thanks :)

Hello,
After days and days of cold weather with rain, I have noticed only now that there was a lot of condensation on both the porta potti and the 20L plastic water can. Due to how the van is parked (not used for a few weeks), in a slope, chances are high that this condensation has been dripping under the floorboard. I'm quite worri4ed about the clock bomb that is could be.
Any tips on drying the interior of van (wood conversion), especially drying inaccessible areas under the floorboard when some moisture could be stagnating?

Not sure if this post is allowed, so here goes nothing. I'm a first year, moved into accomodation in September. Somehow I failed to make friends, completely my fault, but now it's probably too late to ask people from my seminars to hang out as they have all formed groups already. My days are really boring because of this, wake up, go to lectures, then sit in my flat all day. It sucks. I've never even gone to the pub here because going alone would just look weird.
I don't want to drop out, I love this uni but I'm really lonely here. I know that the social life here isn't the best anyway but it would be really nice to have someone to hang out with outside of classes. I feel like I'm just really bad at socialising, I can hold a conversation when talking about work with others in seminars but that's about it. I don't really know why I'm posting this, I guess I just want to get it out somewhere. Hope everyone enjoys their evening.

When I havenāt been able to get my prescription GHB in order to get any sleep I have to take 2mg of Xanax and 6mg of Lunesta just to get a 2-3 hour nap. Why is this? Is it due to rebound insomnia?
I want off of this and want to just use weed for sleep. I have tried taking 300mg RSO capsules and they donāt even put me to sleep unless I take Lunesta or benzos with it.
How long would I have to go without sleep if I stop and when would normal doses of weed or medication work? Iām desperate but scared of not sleeping.
