2024.11.25 19:48 AegeanBreeze3 Need Remote for Older Sleep Number Bed

I have the following Sleep Number bed: Bed Model QS51WU, Remote: LPM-3000F, and Pump # PFCS03-DR dated 04/04/2008. The pump works great and I have no issues with the mattresses, but the remote does not work. It has been pretty iffy for the past year, but now it doesn't work at all. I just get an ER message on the face of the remote and that's it. I've tried changing the battery and I've tried a couple of other trouble shooting options but nothing is working. How can I buy just a replacement remote without having to buy a new pump to go with it? Is there such a thing? Thanks for any help.

Glancing at it overall, I think I'm not taking enough risks/maybe playing a little too safe? What would be some indicators I could watch for in my gameplay for low uptime?

Had the printer for a month and it's been great, until recently where it's leaving these gaps on the first layer. Using Bambu Matte PLA default settings. I've tried changing filament and even swapped the hot end to a hardened one I had in reserve and no change. Also scrubbed the build plate multiple times. Even tried a brand new build plate. Same issue
Any help would be appreciated

2024.11.25 19:48 yualreadyno My dog vomited blood 2 weeks ago. After surgery and various treatments we have no clear answer and he is still vomiting occasionally. Where should we go from here?

My 11 lb 5 yo poodle mix vomited bloody bile on 11/10 in one single bout of vomiting. We took him to an urgent care where they provided fluids and cerenia for nausea. His vitals were normal and stomach seemed appropriately soft. He did not vomit again. We were worried about a blockage as he chews soft toys until they start to fray, so it's possible he swallowed fluff. The urgent care vet recommended a bland diet and follow up testing/imaging with our usual vet if he did not improve. He seemed overall fine for the rest of the day and happily ate chicken/rice/pumpkin that evening.
Monday morning he was acting uncomfortable - trembling and generally not himself. We took him to our regular vet who recommended x-rays of his abdomen. He also received another dose of cerenia and fluids. The x-rays showed matter in his stomach and normal looking content in his intestines (stool and gas present, nothing else). She couldn't be sure whether the matter was food or not, and recommended fasting and another x-ray the following day. They instructed that we not feed him after 8PM that evening. He had chicken and rice around 6PM. He was uncomfortable all night - wouldn't lie down for longer than 10-15 minutes, restless, etc.
Tuesday, the vet repeated x-rays and had them reviewed by radiology, who determined that his stomach did not seem to be clearing as it should; the amount of matter was similar to the previous day despite fasting, and based on those results the vet suspected a blockage and recommended an exploratory laparotomy scheduled for Wednesday.
Our boy seemed much more comfortable Tuesday night and generally better (more energetic and like himself) Wednesday morning. I was feeling reluctant to subject him to surgery when he was possibly improving, but a few days of receiving cerenia and fluids seemed the likely reason for his improvement. The vet assured me that both she and the radiologist felt that surgery was the best next step based on his symptoms and x-rays, and did not recommend an additional day of supportive care. She said they'd be completing an additional x-ray prior to surgery and if anything had changed then so would her recommendation. Bloodwork was completed prior to surgery as well, which was normal.
The only thing found in his stomach during surgery was some uncooked rice (unsure if he ate this off the floor and we didn't notice, or if I accidentally did not fully cook the rice I fed him). His intestines looked normal except there was scar tissue present in his small intestine. She said his pancreas looks normal, not inflamed.
He has overall recovered well from surgery, except he has vomited 3 out of the last 5 mornings. Each instance he has woken up obviously nauseous, vomits mostly bile, and then goes on to have a normal day. He is eating a combo of rice, ground hamburger, and cottage cheese in the amounts recommended by the vet. Each time he's vomited I've monitored him for a couple of hours and then offered food (per the recommendation of the vet when I called about the vomiting), which he has readily eaten.
He has not vomited blood since the event that started all this 2 weeks ago. Now that he is approaching 2 weeks out from surgery, we have a follow up appointment coming up with the vet to discuss the ongoing vomiting and next steps. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight or ideas of what steps to take moving forward?

2024.11.25 19:48 DrSecret007 Quality vs. Quantity is the ultimate factor

I always think this is an interesting discussion and I would love to hear more feedback from this sub.
I think everyone wants to believe that they put out “quality” content, I know I certainly do. But a lot of success I believe early on is generally just right place at the right time: releasing something that strikes the fancy of watchers (and the algorithm) when it is most pivotal.
I started my channel early this year and have released 6 videos, each around 30 minutes on average and with an increasing focus on quality, going so far as to add full animated 3D sequences into my videos that can result in some videos taking 1-2 months to come out, despite working on them constantly. To this aspect, I’ve hit the key point of content creation which is that I love what I do and I love what I make. And my viewers seem to be the same with many comment about how great the quality is. It’s a slow burn however and while I wish I could put more out, it just isn’t feasible without sacrificing that quality.
At the end of the day, for me, I’d much rather release content that I am happy and love, even if it takes longer. But I’d love to hear what others feel: are you willing to “sacrificed quality” for more consistent uploads to keep any relevance going or would you rather have the highest quality you can make, even if it means your audience might stall at points?

I just wondered if people had any advice for my situation.
I am 46 and my daughter is 19 . She has a long-term disability. I also have Asperger’s and PTSD. We have recently won court case to get my daughters disability benefits. We live in social housing outside of London. So we have got things pretty sorted now.
However, my daughter wants to go to university. She’s at the age where all her friends are going and she feels she’s missing out. She wants to study acting she’s actually very good at it. She was already in a feature film last year which is coming out next year with lots of famous actors. So it’s not a ridiculous notion to go and do this.
However, I am very concerned about leaving social housing . One of the places she has applied to his Greenwich university which is where I did my undergraduate. I really love Greenwich is great. Plus if I did a master degree there I would get a discount for being alumni. Greenwich are also very helpful sorting out accommodation. I’m sure if we both went there, we could make it work. Plus, I already know the area and the university so it’s kind of like going home.
My daughter has also applied to some universities in central London . I don’t know where we would live if we both went to University of London. The normal funding and money isn’t an issue. There’s a huge amount of support for disabled people.
The issue is housing . We could afford private rent but I don’t think we would get it because I have bad credit history. I went bankrupt in 2018 when I lost my business. then I went into a DRO last year because I had to give up my job and I had no choice but to go into a DRO Old tax debt and a couple of credit cards. This was before we got the benefits sorted out. We now have nearly double the income we had when I was working full-time. go figure…
I don’t think there is any way we would pass private rental checks . Or am I wrong? I have excellent history with landlords which were always private up until two years ago. I have always had all of my deposit back and got professional cleaners in et cetera when we left.
Does anybody who knows more about this than me have any advice, please? Many thanks in advance.

It's just a bad copy of youtube, the only reason it's somewhat valid, is the fact that it's free, unlike spotify (well, it's free, but unusable without premium) I swear, I accidentally clicked on one video on the for you page, and since then, every search result is just random youtube shorts, instead of the thing I actually searched for. And it cycles! The search results are like 5 shorts, and the same 5 shorts, no matter how long you scroll. And most functions don't even work. Like I mentioned somewhere, how the share function doesn't work, and the next day, I updated this sad excuse of an app, and the share function was removed! I mean, I shouldn't be surprised, but I'm gonna be surprised....
