Prior to this election, my husband and I were talking about retiring in the next 5 years. We could, theoretically exist on our retirement and other savings with our current finances, but our lifestyle would be drastically changed and our main concern was how we'd pay for medical expenses (he's had a transplant).
If we didn't have kids in the US, I'd be leaving now. Jack Smith dropping charges against Trump is, to me, a red line that says this guy really can get away with anything and I have lost faith in both parties. We don't have a democracy and I want to move to a country that is actually democratic. The US is pretty low on this list:

The problem is the kids. My daughter is 19 and in her second year in college. Our oldest son is married and expecting his first child, and our middle son is 21 and still not grown and flown. An alternative way of looking at it is that I could build a home base in a new country before we lose our wealth and the kids could emigrate later if they need to. For what it's worth, we are a blended family and they all have another family that is still here they could rely on (they just don't - they come to us).
Help me make sense of how to calculate the risks here. This is truly a terrifying time.

Background info:
I found out about these scholarships when I was in the first year of my bachelor, but I didn’t research much back then, I just had a friend of a friend who did her bachelor with this sort of program.
Meanwhile, I applied for an Erasmus mobility and went in my second year of bachelor for a semester (the best time of my life). Now, being in my third and final year of bachelor, I definitely want to go again on erasmus during my masters.
I wish I would’ve went this year too but I was still not financially stable after my previous mobility and I wanted to focus on learning and finishing my bachelor with a good final paper, because during my erasmus I didn’t study much of course… Therefore, my options are either to continue with a master at my home university and go on two erasmus mobilities (each for a semester) or apply for some EMJM scholarships and hopefully getting one.
The problem is that I think my chances of getting a paid scholarship (I couldn’t afford to go otherwise) are low…
The one that sparked my interest is the EPOG Major A , in Turin and Paris. I have pretty good grades (my average for the first and second year is 9,39/10), and a CAE certificate for C1 but I got a score of 201 so basically it is C2 . I also know a bit of french from high-school but I didn’t get a degree for that and it is rusty for sure… (I wouldn’t even say it is B1) and I did an Italian language A1 course while on erasmus and now I’m doing it on doulingo (but again, no official qualification).
So aside from that I don’t have many other official qualifications or volunteering activities from my bachelor years.
I did some short activities like a three week accounting course at a consulting firm and participated at some events organised by student associations but I don’t think they will account to much since it wasn’t a continuous volunteering action that shows my commitment. I was never in a student association and also never had an “actual” job (I was an acting extra one summer because it paid for the day and I could count how much to earn in order to keep my low income scholarship ) because I wanted to focus on studying and keeping my two scholarships ( one for academic results and the other because of my income).
I forgot to mention that my bachelor is Economics and International Business in english (International Economic Relations) so I have enough credits from economy and statistics related subjects to qualify.
I hope I didn’t miss out any important details but I think these are the key aspects.
How are my chances of being taken into consideration for the scholarship? And do you have any tips and how I can improve my application until January? I know there isn’t a straight answer but I am looking for personal opinions of people who went through this…
I am probably going to apply to that scholarship while I also have a safety net with my home university erasmus mobilities because I have nothing to lose but I also don’t want to put too much hope into in case of a rejection….

Hace un par de años tenía un grupo de amigos. Eran dos chicos, y yo (soy chica) Uno de ellos estaban enamorados de mi (o por lo menos el gustaba) pero yo no sentía lo mismo.
A lo que voy, el otro chico (llamémosle Y) tenía una obsesión con el sexo o cosas así era muy turbio. Peor a mí el otro chico (le voy a llamar P) pues P me caía muy bien. Pero si P no estaba con Y prácticamente no salía, y Eos era un rollazo. Bueno pues Y era muy muy infantil a niveles extremos.
Pues su sueño era ver una teta, y me lo pidió, y yo me negué, aunque el seguia insistiendo (destacó que además yo soy mas virgen que el aceite) y yo seguia negándome. Y hasta P me tuvo que defender de Y pq el acoso era enorme. Pues bien un día íbamos a ir a casa de Y a jugar videojuegos. Y como yo soy vaga (más bn me estaba haciendo la vaga) aunque solo había que ir al primer piso yo hice la coña de ir en el ascensor e Y se subió conmigo mientras P subía andando. Pues derrepente Y le dio al 11 piso y yo ya entendía lo que iba a hacer. No paraba de insistir me repetidamente , hasta el punto de sentirme acosada. En cuanto llegamos al ultimo piso, me bajé corriendo por las escaleras. Al final le bloque (ese día no pero a raíz de eso) y con el no he vuelto a hablar.

Finally made it to NG+7 and to celebrate, I let my friends pick boss order and weapon (I have all of them). Didn't record any of the fights because I always do this stuff with my friends around so that they can witness the suffering. Unfortunately, the sadistic friend who picked Onyx Blade for good ol' Gael was not able to hop in VC when the fight was taking place. Only option was to take the hour of footage and condense it for her.
