I woke up this morning to all of my windows of my house being shuttered over with a metal grate. I reached through the gate and there seems to be a layer of what feels like cement over the grates. I don’t have any power and i keep hearing crickets, so it seems to be night? I’ve been awake for a really long time, and my clock says it’s 1pm. It’s dead silent besides the crickets, and i think it is nighttime so what do i do? I’m eventually going to run out of food and water. I also keep hearing thuds on my roof. if anyone has anything i can try to try it out.

I don't post often, and I'm not exactly sure where to post this, probably post this more than once. I'm a little nervous to post this.
My dad (40) had to be let go from his job a year ago and decided to try to make his dream work out, which is making a game company and make fun video games. He's always wanted to do this since he was a kid, and went to school for it too. He spent months working on his game, which is called Crisis Command, available on Steam and Epic. It's an action platformer game I believe, it takes inspiration from Megaman, those games. To anyone who takes the time to read this, please go check it out. Buy it, look at it, leave a review, I don't really care. Though I am a kid, I don't know much about game making and all, but I wanna help my dad make his dream come true. I wanna help as much as possible even if it isn't my responsibility to do so. I want to help his game be more visible, if that makes sense.
Dad, I know you have Reddit. I don't know if you'll see this though. But I love you and I wish the best for you.

Unfortunately I am being forced to RTO in 2025. However, I was planning to move next year, and the policy is if you live more than 50 miles from an office you are remote. I now have to go through an approval process to move away.
There are several offices around the country and most employees don’t live near an office and work remotely. There are already employees working remotely in the state I am planning to move to.
Do I have a chance of this being approved or am I out of luck? Has anyone gone through this before? The anxiety is killing me and I just need answers, but they are making me wait.

In a week's time, I'm auditioning for a local production of Oklahoma! The company has specified that they want people to prepare "a song/cut from a song from a Golden Age or classic musical." I feel very strong about my ability to sing Stars from Les Mis, and while I'm aware that it's not from the Golden Age, I'm not sure what is or is not considered a "classic" musical. Would Les Mis be appropriate or should I find something from the golden age?
