AITC for not listening to my mommy? I was outside, doing my thing, sniffing all the smells and mommy said it was time to go in but I refused. I laid down and pretended to nap. She called my name a lot and I refused to move until she called me pimp daddy. That's what my auntie used to call me when I was younger cause I liked to hump everything. She likes to make fun of me and call me that and say I'm trying to find me a coyote baby mama cause we live in the country. I can't help it if I'm a stud. I just wanted to have some outside time in peace since the evil mini raptors weren't around. So am I the cloaca?

2024.11.25 20:50 90-6 Ebay seller threatening to take me to court for returning an item
I purchased an item on ebay and on arrival decided that they didnt fit. Checking the listing, the seller had returns on. I returned the item using the ebay system and the seller then messaged to say the item not fitting wasnt a valid reason for return and isnt going to refund and is taking legal action. I've done everything by the book according to ebay's policies. Do I have anything to worry about?

2024.11.25 20:50 danielgmal Can we discuss how you handle travelling in cultures where friendliness isnt the default?
I recently got back from a trip to a baltic country and had experiences there that reminded me of times ive been places where things I'd thought were just standards of human behaviour that would travel everywhere turned out to be cultural.
I've been really unsettled by some of these things, and it's put me off further exploration. For examples of what im talking about:
- Not smiling, so every conversation with a new person feels hostile and laden with tension
- no social cues given in facial or body language and a total reluctance to offer any reassurance so if you're uncertain with the language or not quite sure how to ask something you often wont be guided or helped
- no queuing, survival of the bolshiest
What's the best response to this kind of thing - go places that more closely align with your worldview (something that seems to miss the point of a major part of travel) or just try to ignore it?

I've ran them a fair amount of times (both spearhead and regular games) and they always end underwhelming, id expect a 150 point, large models to do a lot of damage but they just always seem to get stuck in and might as well be line infantry.
