Just wondering if this seems like reasonable pricing for these items. I'm not a car guy at all and I'm not sure if this is a good amount, or if it's a bit too much. I'm looking to get it done regardless, but if it's a bit expensive then I can try and look around first.
It's a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Price is in Canadian dollars and the quote is from a local Napa Auto Parts.

I grew up in Alabama and always had the best thanksgivings! I really want to some of the dishes I remember for my in laws this Thanksgiving but Iām struggling to find recipes that I know I can trust. Unfortunately I donāt have any living family left to get the recipes from and I havenāt lived in Alabama since I was in my early twenties, over two decades ago.
Does anyone have a recipe they wouldnāt mind sharing or linking to that they know is great? Even just a blogger posting recipes from Alabama that are tested would be great.
Iām trying to make cornbread stuffing that I know had sage, onion, and celery, broccoli casserole that had a super cheesy top, and Mac and cheese.

On another note, I absolutely loved this record, I'm actually listening to it a second time already! I really like the prog and the death metal mixed together, that mixture goes right up my alley. The intro to The Stargate [Tablet I] scared the crap out of me when I first heard it, I was not expecting that at all. I do really like the sci-fi aspect of it, I'm a huge sci-fi nerd so this goes together really well.

Now I'll just say I understand if no one reads this fully. I just like writing. If my English is bad, I'm sorry, I'm from Finland.
So since I was like 10, I was always bullied for my hairstyle, music taste and style. That continued for a few years. Even the girl I used to have a crush on bullied me. And when middle school started I was scared because I knew only 5 people from the new class. So the year started and I wasn't bullied anymore, but my style was still bad and my hair was very long. And there was this blonde girl, and when I saw her in like 2023 august I already had the biggest crush ever on her. But then a guy (who used to be a friend of mine but he hated me) started dating her. They broke up in like a month or two. But at that point I knew I didn't have a single chance on her. And there was another girl in my class and I was like, she looks okay I guess, I could message her. We talked in December 2023 and then I got blocked. Well some months go by and in may 2024 I got a haircut and for the first time ever I thought I kinda looked good. And I started liking the blonde girl again. Then summer vacation hits. And then in August I got to go to school again. And I absolutely hate 8th grade. Well then I got my birthday in September, so that's cool. And in September I realize.. wait, now that I look good and I got a better style. I might have chances on that blonde girl. Well on I think 7th of september I added her on snap and a day later we started talking. And the following week I was sick so I didn't see her but we talked a lot. And we trusted each other like a lot. So we talked about EVERYTHING like which classmates we hate and stuff like that. (From now on nothing is in a particular order). Then one day she starts to say goodnight and good morning you know. She asked my type. And if I liked blondes or brunettes. Then I asked if there was a reason why se asked my type. And she said no not really. And I said "or maybe you just like me". She answered "I wont admit anything". I said that "you would say no if you didn't" and she said "I won't admit". Then she said that she's ugly and I said no ur not, I'm the one who's ugly and she said "ur kinda handsome imo". Then she was going to sleep and said "good night" and I answered good night. And she answered with three heart emojis (ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø) and I answered with one (ā¤ļø). And I don't know how at this point I didn't realize she liked me (probably was so tired cause I was sick). Then I sent her a snap and she answered "SMASH", I said "yeah you" and she said "no you", I said, "but you look better than me" she said "no I don't".. I don't know how I didn't know she liked me. On another day she said "good nightš" and I said "good night, although I'll probably go to sleep at 3amš" she answered "ššš" I answered "š". One day she just randomly sent "ā¤ļø" and I answered "ā¤ļø". At this point I was just dumb cause I didn't realize she liked me. Then again I sent her a snap and she said "YOU ARE SO HANDSOME" I said no. She said yes. One day she said "damn you're good looking" I said "no you" she said "YOUU" I said "NO YOU" she said "NO". I sent her a snap she said "cute" I answered "talking about yourself?" She said "no, you". She asked if I liked her and I said, you tell first, she said "well maybe" I said "well I might like you". About an hour later she says "sooo... Do you wanna be my boyfriend" and I have never trusted people a lot so I said "If you actually want to" because I thought it might be a prank. She answered "I do!". And now at that point I'm so happy cause she is my first girlfriend. This was on 14th of September. 4 days later I go to her house. Another two days later and I go there again and we're just laying on her bed kissing and cuddling and talking random stuff. Then about 2 weeks ago we had music class and we had like 5 people bands which we were playing in. My band and her band had already played so she went to the main lobby of the school and sent me a snap "come here" I went there. We hung in the lobby for a bit cause no one was there. Anyway she said to follow her. She went to the bathroom and told me to get in there too. And no, we didn't do the adults thing in school. We were hugging and kissing a lot. One day later me, her and my best friend go outside to hang out. We had fun. She sat on my lap a few times cause it had rained so the benches were wet and I didn't want her to sit on a wet bench. And we were hugging and kissing in front of my friend and he was just talking cause.. well he was third wheeling so what else is he supposed to do. Now ive been sick again for a few weeks so I've just talked on snap with my beautiful girlfriend. We have now been together for 2 months, 1 week and 1 day. I'm lucky asf to have her as my girlfriend.

So I work at self service.
I was the only one working in the SS at the time and had about 7 people all needing help (approving alcohol etc) so I was busy running around trying to please everyone and was all over the place.
This man enters the SS area and looked to be about 60+ years of age. He placed his basket in the correct area (points to him for this as most fail to do so). As he was scanning his items through he was leaning onto the weighing area which disrupted the machine and wouldnāt let him continue. Now because I was the only one working in the area at the time I couldnāt get to him straight away to help him out. The entire time he continues to just lean onto the weighing area and I could tell he was getting frustrated.
I finally got to go up to this man and just explained that the machine was freaking out because he was leaning onto the weighing area and he would need to not do that. He repeatedly stated that the machine was broken and it wasnāt working. I again tried to explain that it was like that because he was putting his weight on the weighing area and it would be fine if he stopped doing that. Apparently I was talking to a brick wall because this man just says the machines not working. I began to realise there was no point trying to explain how the SS machines work so instead I offered to scan his items through for him.
How dare I.
I suppose this pushed him over the edge as he turns to me and loudly exclaims that he doesnāt want his shopping anymore. āForget itā. This man then decides to throw some of the shopping back into the basket very dramatically and then threw a big tub of mint chocolate ice cream at me. He followed this with throwing tins of sardines at me and scurried away.
I was in shock and couldnāt help but laugh at how fucking ridiculous that was. This grown adult man just threw a temper tantrum.
When I got the chance to put the items back on the shelf I did so giggling. Funniest thing to happen to me in a long time.

Iām so excited for both of these movies but I canāt help but wonder which one is going to be more successful. Both are musicals, both are family-friendly, and both films have incredibly passionate fans, so Itās gonna be close. Which do you think is going to do better or will it be a tie? Which one are you going to see? Both or neither?
If I had to guess, Wicked will probably do slightly better, but Moana isnāt going to be a slouch at all. I think the people at Universal knew that and moved the release date up a few days. Either way, theaters are going to be packed Thanksgiving weekend.

Hello all, Iām in a bit of a pickle here so I figured coming to Reddit as a last resort might be my saving grace. I upgraded all my characters into my Jagex account a while back, and I just recently lost access to the registered email address associated with the account. The email address was my student one from my former college but they completely disabled it because on November 18th this year. Iāve been trying everything for the past week and I keep running into the same wall. Essentially you canāt maunually recover a jagex account for whatever reason. I contacted my former school (my email administrator) and they told me the only way to re activate it, is to register for classes on the coming semester. Iāve spoken to supervisors and IT supervisors and they all tell me the same thing: we canāt help you. If a mod or maybe another player with knowledge on how to go about this can help I would greatly appreciate it as Iām losing days on my bonds.
TLDR: Canāt recover a jagex account. Need help.

Just getting into FPV drones. I have done a bunch of research, and feel super comfortable so far but would love to have a list of any and all programs that I need, or will find useful moving deeper into this hobby. Bought a Pavo 20 pro as my first drone. Picked up a second hand Boxer. Still need a few things before I can start flying, but would like to start putting together all of the programs I will need. Planning on running DJI O3 with DJI goggles 3. Also plan to build a 5" early next year using O4 hopefully when it releases.

Heya!! May everyone have a lovely day today!! I go by Glow! Iām 19 and in the CST timezone (GMT-6)! Iāve been roleplaying for over six years! Available-wise I tend to be the most free in the afternoons to late night. Iāve been craving a multiple character-driven plot lately and I hope to find a partner for it!
Within this plot, I hope to have the focus on exploration of the human condition by looking into each of the characters' mindsets. Specifically into the inner conflicts around identity and code-switching. Delving into the idea you can never fully know someone no matter how you want to think otherwise. Not even the individual themself can fully know themselves in and out. Because of this, this plot will probably delve into darker themes like exploration of trauma, depersonalization, struggle with suicidal ideation, etc. This will be a long-term plot that will have interwoven storylines and beats within each of the characters with them being in a friend group altogether. Furthermore, it will focus on the dynamics between each of the characters. So you can expect possibly the topics of unrequited love, rivalry, disdain, etc. So if this sounds right up your alley, please send me a chat and we can brainstorm something together!

Hereās a little more about me! Iām currently in college so sometimes my replies will be delayed during exam seasons! But I will get to responses whenever Iām not busy! I aim for daily responses but of course, it can vary depending on the length of the response and how chaotic life can be! Iāll give you a heads-up for either case. And of course, I give the same courtesy back! I will never be one to rush a post! Iāll only do a check-up if itās been a week or so!
When it comes to writing I only write in the third person past tense and heavily prefer it if my partner does the same. I aim to mirror responses so my length can vary! But I usually write a couple of paragraphs or more! I do have writing samples that Iām happy to share if requested! Feel free to share your own too!
Regarding characters, I adore playing a variety of characters as I firmly believe side characters can add a lot to a narrative! Especially in this one! So we'll fit well if you like exploring multiple characters in your roleplays! Additionally, I am open to a variety of dynamics and LGBTQ+ friendly! I have no issues with MxM or FxF ships! Not all of them have to be romantic but I donāt mind romance either! Iām very open to whatever dynamic you may have in mind!
I donāt mind OOC chat, as Iām a big yapper myself! Never be afraid to start up a conversation as I love yapping and making new friends when I can! Especially if you get me started on a series or game I adore! I love sending memes or music that fits characters when I can! Plus I find it easier to roleplay with those who I am friends with!
Furthermore, I am an artist so if we get far along in the roleplay thereās a high chance Iāll send art too! And most importantly I love hearing what others are passionate about! Since I view writing as a collaborative experience I want to ensure we are both enjoying the roleplay! Which means having elements we both enjoy in whatever story we are creating together!
One final thing I want to preface is I only do NSFW-implied elements, so I will only do Fade to Black. It is my preference and I prefer focusing on primarily the story. If you are looking for smut included in your roleplay, I am not the writer for you!

Today I am looking for a partner for a specific multiple-driven character narrative lingering in the back of my head for a while. This narrative will require a lot of brainstorming and setup with the main four characters within a friend group!
The main general gist is an in-depth psychologically driven story set in a modern setting with possible supernatural elements of a group of college friends.
The first way we could go about it is a slice of life of a long-lasting group that has been with each other ever since the later years of high school. Within this group, all of them possess secrets, pasts, and parts of themselves they conceal from others to some degree. Some of their secrets will be interwoven and some will have shared pasts to some degree. Potentially there could be a case where one friend is blackmailing another friend with something they did in the past that only both of them know about. A secret that could ruin them. Another case could be two friends who share a very interlinked past due to the shared transgressions they committed together. But one is trying to move forward from it with the friend group, while the other is trapped in the past. Or whatever else we may come up with! As this can go a lot of ways! There could be all kinds of elements added to, for example, crime. Possibly the two friends who shared an interlinked past are because they were responsible for someoneās death. Be it pushing them to take their life or directly killing them.
Another possible way we could go about exploring the friend group narrative is by having them on a road trip together. Possibly one they take after a mutual close friend of theirs passed away. So they visit all the places they used to hang out with their close friend at. With the potential twist that one or multiple of them are responsible for the close friendās death.
Overall the focus will be on the group discovering each otherās hidden selves and the aftermath following it. It will explore the dynamics they had before and how the dynamics shift after the truth is laid bare to all. There are various directions this narrative can go depending on the characters and dynamics we want to set up!
Iād love for the narrative to be almost set up like a tragedy play with various arcs. Of course with a balanced mix of both darker and wholesome moments. One with potential symbols tying the characters to Greek mythology since there are so many tales with tragic themes within Greek mythology. For example, Iphigenia, Apollo and Daphne, Icarus, Alcestis, etc!
