2024.11.25 22:00 cheesymeowgirl Just got verbally abused for something that wasn’t my fault.
(I work for a bank in disputed payments for context). Customer calls up to say he wants his money back for a pending payment. I ask why. He says he put his card details in on a link from a leaflet he found in his mail for a free trial for a a product, and now they have charged him the first billing payment.
He’s screaming, calling them scammers and theives and demands I reverse the charge. I tell him I physically can’t do that and to speak to the company. He tells me he has but they only respond via email and have only cancelled the subscription further not refunded him.
I look up the companies T&Cs and inform the customer they aren’t scammers as their free trial has an end period and he would have needed to cancel it within that to stop them taking this payment. I direct him towards civil organisations and say we can’t dispute this (I know I am 100% correct) and then that’s when he explodes.
He calls me every word under the sun, tells me to go fuck myself and fuck my mother then says he was smash up all of our physical stores/branches and that I’d better call the police. Then he hangs up. Because he came through with no account details on an anonymous number I can’t even report him.

I’m just not his person. Context: I broke NC after a week of ending things for good. We were in a 6 month on and off situationsip. I wanted commitment and he was confused. we broke up and came back together multiple times during last 6 months. It’s like I feel into this toxic unhealthy habit of having him around. Anyhow back to today. I broke NC over the weekend we talked a lot and spent the whole night just talking and processing your feelings and the whole next day as well. And all I realized while taking to him was that I’m not his person and I can never be that person and I should just stop trying to be that person for him. I felt for the past 6 months all I have done is trying to be that person for him but I just can’t. I want to and need to accept that I just can’t be his person. But it seems so difficult for me to accept this and be okay with the fact that I just am not right for him and he is not right for me. Any suggestions on how to accept this. I know time heals stuff. This is not my first breakup. My first breakup also hurt a lot and it took me 2 years to move on. I don’t want to go through the same feelings and be stuck for 2 more years waiting for a person. And somehow this time it feels even worse (this maybe because it is fresh). But idk I just want to move on and be okay. I want to love and be loved by someone.

Is anyone having an issue where the plan immediately starts diving to the left right as you try taking off. I cant try calibrating my hotas because the settings in MSFS24 wont let me. And I tried looking at the control panel for the hotas and everything looks fine. Just seeing if anyone else is having this issue.

Hey y'all, I've recently started looking into getting a newer subcompact suv and have my eyes set for a Mazda CX-50. My preferred out the door price is around $25,000 which I've seen a few 23-24 used car listings within that range but I know dealers like to tack on a bunch of fees. I've been doing a lot of research but have hit a wall. I am graduating college this December, have only had one vehicle (a best up Nissan), and overall lack real experience within car buying.
