I've been masturbating since 12 at least 3 times a week. Got an addiction to web cam girls (I've probably spent 20k on there) since 2017. Once I graduated from school and started making decent money I also developed a addiction to strip clubs spending my entire salary on there. I liked talking to the girls there and just getting dances ive probably spent another $20k there. I then started drinking at these places and got cited for DUI and open container and am worried that I will lose my job. I have my dream job paying 90k a year and potentially threw it away for nothing. I think I've hit rock bottom. I don't understand why I did this. Guess it could be worse. I don't know what's wrong with me seriously

Went to show in Boston last night and considering this was a tour for their new album, I was kind of shocked they only played a few new songs. It was a wicked good setlist though!
I honestly haven't listened to the new album a ton, but a lot of their songs on it don't have the same math rock feel to them, but they did when played live. I wonder if it's anything to do with being on a new record label. And speaking of the record label, I also still haven't received my preorder and the record label originally told me it would ship beginning of this month when I inquired about it but haven't received any updates or tracking info since 🤷‍♀️
Either way I am so glad we got to see them twice in one year!!

This sub is so NEGATIVE. Jesus, it makes me anxious and I barely have it anymore! I just want to post something quickly to say that.. it’s okay. Like, it’s literally gonna be okay. You’re gonna be okay. That’s what I wanted to hear the most when I first got it.. and that’s what I needed. Because it was true. This fucking sub made me think it wasn’t true. I’d read posts and it’d make my symptoms so much worse because I’d get scared by then then feel really dissociated…. HPPD is very similar to anxiety. You can hallucinate with anxiety. You can become depressed with anxiety. You can have visual snow and derealisation etc etc… now I’m very lucky and had a great therapist at the time I realised I had it. I told her of my symptoms (not of my use, because I didn’t feel comfortable) and she helped me to understand that my symptoms align with that of anxiety, mostly. Eg, hallucinations, visual snow, ear ringing, panic attacks, dpdr (mildly), etc. SEEK ADVISE LIKE THAT! SEEK ADVISE AS IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY. AND YOU WANT TO KNOW THE BEST PART? Most people with anxiety have it permanently. HPPD IS NOT PERMANENT IN ALMOST ALL CASES!!
Tips that I HIGHLY!!!! RECOMMEND! -practice mindfulness! Meditation, deep breathing, JOURNALING!, yoga.. 2 mins a day to journal or to deep breathe will do WONDERS -find ways to distract yourself. Indulge in a hobby for if you get overwhelmed. -TELL SOMEONE YOU LOVE. if you feel scared of telling them it’s HPPD, tell them it’s anxiety. If you’re young, I especially recommend approaching parents etc, saying you think you have anxiety. Professional help will no doubt do wonders… -realise that often, it’s not the HPPD that’s ‘debilitating’ in the long run, it’s the spiral you’ve gotten yourself into… you’ve convinced yourself your life is over. It’s not! ITS FAR FROM OVER!!! I am almost completely better, but I am a university student at a high level research university on track for a first, an internship, a loving long-term partner which I live with, strong relationships, no more anxiety. I am not saying this to gloat. I am saying this because this sub makes it seem like if you have HPPD you can’t do well, especially academically/in relationships/with yourself/in work/whatever. Not true! HPPD can be a tool. Realise that often when your HPPD is getting worse, that’s just you getting more anxious, then find a way to bring yourself back down to baseline. :)
Yes going to the gym, eating well etc helps, but like, it’s not that deep… please avoid hard substances until you feel okay again. Or at least not anxious. Obviously I’m not gonna recommend to take drugs at all, but if you DO decide to, just wait until you can deal with your anxiety
I went from feeling unable to do basic human tasks to… loving my life (my symptoms are literally just very very mild visual snow now but they used to be really bad). And I feel that is my ultimate personal goal. I wish it for all of you, and it’s very possible!

Since yesterday, I seem to have lost the ability to drag+drop to move episodes around within a playlist.
Not sure if changing the order is possible under 'Options', because 90% of the time, clicking Options has no effect. (This is also incredibly frustrating, bc it's the only way I know to select an individual episode to add to a particular playlist, which I want to do with most episodes. When I do eventually manage to add or move an episode to a different playlist, Overcast inevitably marks it unplayed. 🤦‍♀️)
