My mom has come down with some kind of serious illness that is causing nerve damage and only getting worse. We think that it's extreme long-covid and that it will eventually kill her, because we don't have the money to pay for a specialist clinic.
I've been stressed out at the thought of her dying, because she has been the closest and most trusted person for my entire life. When I first found out about the possibility, I couldn't sleep or do my schoolwork because I kept imagining getting suddenly getting a call and hearing that she died. I'm also depending on her, because I'm living in her house until I'm done with school, and I don't know where I'll go if she's gone. I can't handle to constantly dwell on the stress because I have to worry about school and my responsibilities, so the only way I can cope with it is by acting apathetic and almost as if it doesn't exist.
She keeps coming to talk to me about all of the pain she's in, and I don't know how to respond to it at all, especially since the only thing really keeping me together is me acting as if everything will turn out fine.
She came into my room earlier today, asking about how things were going. I said I was handling things fine. Then she said some along the lines "But what are you going to do if I'm gone?" I tried to explain that I will be able to handle it, and there's no point in thinking about that. I don't know what I did wrong, but that response got perceived as hostile and it turned into an argument, even though I wasn't trying to be negative at all.
She started asking me all of these questions about my emotions regarding her potential death. And I just don't know how to answer them. I got overwhelmed. Of course I had stress, but I had no idea how to outwardly express that in an acceptable or natural way.
I was trying to explain that I don't know how to cope with it, and I don't know exactly what I said to provoke it, but she suddenly started saying "I can't believe you don't care about me. Why are you even living here?" And that was like a huge punch in the gut. Of course I care about her, more than anything in the world, especially when my entire life depends on her. I just don't know how to say it. This is the most frustrating thing in the world, because I've never had to handle intense emotions like this, and certainly haven't been expected to somehow perform them like this.
All I could do was sit there silently and check out for the rest of the time she was talking to me. I was scared if I tried to explain myself further, I would just somehow dig myself an even deeper grave, and I didn't want to make it about myself when I know she's suffering. She's never said anything that extreme like "Why are you even living here?" to me. We've always been really close, and it hurts that I failed so horribly at being able to express emotion that I would cause her to think I care so little.
Just a little vent. Emotional expression and expressing empathy are just so difficult and overwhelming. It's almost suffocating to be under this much stress and anxiety over one of the people you care about most in the world, and you utterly fail at making them understand that.

 | Want to get better at the game? You’ll no doubt have heard people say “Watch your replays” and I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment, BUT, here’s the twist….. Watch your games from the perspective of your TM’s. You know that game where your TM scores very few points but you seem to have the ball all the time? Go watch the replay from his perspective. Were your decisions making his life harder? Did you rotate to the correct position? Did you even rotate back on the correct side of the field? Did you steal his boost as you were cutting rotations, forcing double commits? What did YOU do? How can YOU improve your game sense, position, spacing and general rotations? The video shown is from the perspective of a TM. Note that the first man was beaten, the second man had a shot on the ball, third man decided to skip the whole back post defence idea and just go for the ball, despite the fact that this would place all 3 cars in the front post corner, with the net WIDE OPEN! On top of that, he nearly bumped the one guy who DID have a shot on goal, off the ball. Zero brains. A second tip (I know, I said ONE tip…) If the other team can’t score, they can’t win. Defence is actually just as important as offence, maybe even more important. Work it out. Your rank WILL climb. The problem with this game is that there’s no training pack for the things you need to know, so, we end up with a bunch of players who can flip reset, but can’t work out where they need to be, or when they need to be there. I had someone message me about a custom order. I was away, so I answered by clicking through in an email on my phone which went to browser-Etsy. They got that and they replied to it. But since then, I have replied on laptop at home and heard nothing back.
Today they started a new message, asking me again about the custom order, and it seems they did not know about my previous reply.
Because they haven't bought anything I have limited info about them and can't message them any other way.
No idea if its a glitch or they aren't reading messages properly or what. They also mentioned that they tried to send a message but it didn't go through, and that they couldn't send any images (for the custom order).
