I’ve recently secured an interview for the role of HM Judge's Clerk and I’d really appreciate any insights or advice from those familiar with the role or interview process.
My background: I’ve got about 3 years of experience as a Court Clerk, having worked in both an Immigration Tribunal and later in the Crown Court. From what I’ve read, the Judge’s Clerk role seems similar, though this one appears to involve more PA responsibilities for the Judge alongside conducting the court hearings.
I've read that the interview is a two-stage process: Practical assessment: Any idea what this might entail? Is it just to test your typing speed? Is it difficult and should I do anything to prep for this?
Panel interview: I assume this will follow the standard competency + strengths-based format?
Specific questions I have: Role differences: How does the HM Judge's Clerk role differ from being a Court Clerk in practice? Any key responsibilities I should be aware of? Formalities: Since this is for the Royal Courts of Justice, I’m a bit nervous about the formal setting. Is there a particular way I should address panel members? And will there be a Judge on the panel? In the Crown Court, we’d say “Judge,” but in Immigration Tribunal, we’d use “SiMa’am” or “MMs.” What’s the proper etiquette here, especially if a judge is present?
I’ve done quite a few interviews before but I’m naturally a bit nervous, especially for something this high-profile so just want to be as prepared as possible.
Would really appreciate any insights or advice!

I am installing 3/8” plywood over top the existing hard wood floors in my house. Over top that will be 1/2” engineered hardwood. My baseboard registers are 14x6 and spaced roughly 1” from the existing floor (meaning a register cover sits flush with the current floor. I do not want to cut the vent cover as I’ve done that currently and they look terrible. Is my only option to cut out the existing stack head and extend the duct vertically then reinstall it? Are there custom registers where I could get one to fit 14x5 and disregard the vent flange? Hopefully some options. My supply comes from a 14in X (idk) rectangular duct, house was built in 47

I got an F23 from an ‘02 Cavalier 2.2. It’s got 90k miles. Is there anyone who has done this before that has a parts list they used? There is so much conflicting information out there..
My main worry is the flywheel and whether I can keep the stock one or not. Second worries are shifter cables and shifter…can I just use stock fiero stuff? Is the hydraulic system for the clutch any different or can I use fierostores master and slave cylinder…

My husband (married for 1 year and together for 8) has been addicted to alcohol, porn and media (movies, shows, scrolling through reels) for pretty much as long as I’ve known him. It wasn’t so apparent until we moved in together where I’ve caught him numerous times watching porn and playing porn games while jerking off. He admitted to me it was an addiction and that he would stop but I’m not sure if that’s actually happened as I’m tired of checking his computer. He is a heavy drinker and has come home completely drunk and unable to walk several times, he once subconsciously yelled at me saying “(name), I’m going to f*king smash you”. I was completely shocked by this as I didn’t know where it was coming from. He didn’t harm me or anything. He is also ALWAYS on his phone, watching stuff endlessly and scrolling even when we are together or he’s doing tasks. I always have to tell him to turn it off as I want him to give me his full attention when we are trying to talk or are alone together. On top of this, he is not the most responsible or dependable person and that’s mainly because he’s the youngest child in his family and has never had to worry about things. I’m the eldest so I’m naturally responsible and like to get things done. He’s gotten slightly better but I still do most of the work around the house. He also seems to want to meet his own needs first all the time and never really does small/special things for me. He’s very short tempered and impatient. Im worried that I have just been putting up with this without realising all these years and I’m too scared to start over?

 | I suffer from a condition called Steatocystoma multiplex, which essentially gave me internal spots all over my body which never really go away. The only treatment is surgery. Yesterday, due to anxiety i had the terrible idea to use a needle and pierce my body in hopes of getting rid of the sebum inside of them. Not sure what i expected as i know picking on them actually affects me way more than the actual condition. They are not as noticeable but due to years of picking i left myself with a few red dots and scars ( some darker, purple like). However the damage i done yesterday is the most. It took all this to finally make me accept my condition and realise if i never picked on them , there was never a big issue with the way my body looks with them. However now i am afraid i have done irreversible damage on my skin that has mentally ruined me. The dark red dotted on the right of my belly bottom ( diagonally up) was a previous spot that i messed with. Its gotten so dark and noticeable since i picked on it, wasnt noticeable at all before i did and i am afraid all the spots i picked on yesterday will turn to look like this. On the 2 last pics you can see how i normally am. I used to hate my skin but i would do anything to look back like this. Literally how i was 2 days ago. Note that any red dots or pigmentation in those last 2 pics also came from picking. If i never picked on my spots i would be in a way better place now. Is there any way i can get rid of/prevent the Scarring, redness, pigmentation etc? … i ve seen vitamin c suggest and retinol but i might need something that helps actual wound scars?
