Lamentablemente el antiguo moderador del sub estaba inactivo, por lo que desde este momento soy el nuevo moderador.
Como primer medida voy a ofrecerles un AMA con un veterinario amigo y vamos a responder todas las consultas gatunas que tengan.
Como segunda medida, vamos a empezar a darle más prioridad al contenido de verdaderos gatitos argentinos y todos los posts con la única intención de farmear karma para cuentas de OF queda absolutamente prohibido: Se acabaron las imagenes de pinterest en 144p.
La tercer medida va a ser darle un poco de contenido estático al sub y comenzar a armar una lista de números y contactos importantes de refugios y veterinarios 24 hs de buena reputación comunitaria en cada rincón del país además de información básica de cuidado de gatos con consejos y recomendaciones usando productos, marcas y establecimientos Argentinos.
La cuarta y última medida será conformar un pequeño mod team de personas muy dedicadas a reddit para que podamos mantener el sub funcionando bien y libre de spam o contenidos perjudiciales.
Está perfecto compartir memes o fotos random de nuestros gatos pero se evitará el posteo con el único fin de ganar karma.

I've been bouncing around jobs and fields within design for the last few years and I'm feeling completely uninspired by my career. When I think about setting goals I find that I'm not excited by my career trajectory. The thought of becoming a lead designer somewhere or owner of a design firm doesn't excite me very much, but maybe that's because my exposure to the world of graphic design has mostly been in bland corporate environments where design was seen as a superficial afterthought, almost more of a pet project than a marketing necessity.
I'd really like to rekindle my interest in this field. Are there any books or resources that YOU love that I can sink my teeth into about typography, the history of graphic design, or digital media? I love learning new things and I'm not afraid of picking up something dense or challenging. In fact, I adore sinking my teeth into something difficult and technical (I've been learning coding for that reason). I also feel disconnected from the world of graphic design as a whole. If you guys also have recommendations for ways I can stay in touch with who are the biggest designers and what's really hot right now I'd love to hear it!

My dad passed away 2 years ago, and it may infact be due to the recalled CPAP Machine he used for over 10 years+. There's strong cancer and carcinogenic links with the recalled CPAP machines...

2024.11.25 22:47 The-White-Dot Can use use the effects of a card like Keen Eye and Great Strength?
Rules page 11 says choose 1 ability with a Runemark. Keen Eye doesn't give a runemark but Great Strength does. Can you then have +1 dice and +1 damage?
I know you can't have cleave and grevious as they are both runemarks etc.
If the above Keen Eye+Great Strength example does work, what about adding a ploy like Determined Effort. Can you benefit from an additional+1 dice from a ploy as well as Keen Eyes +1, giving a +2 dice or a +3 dice if your are the underdog? Or does the underdog effect not trigger as there's a Runemark for Underdog?
Basically, is +1 dice a weapon ability or not? If it was an ability, surely it would have a runemark like grievous, cleave, ensnare, brutal and graple?Because it doesn't have a mark it should then work along side the runemarks and not against them surely?

Does anyone have recommendations for an 10gbe switch as well as a 48 port switch. 40gbe would be very nice. Noise and power is not really an issue. Though I would prefer it to not be unreasonablely loud and just waste power for no reason. For reference I have a Brocade 24x turboiron. It has been good though, it's a little on the older side. I've been looking at the Juniper EX4300 series as well as Brocade and Arista switches. These older Datacenter switches have a lot gotchas. I don't want to purchase something and find out I can't use because of some weird licensing or software you can no longer get.
