2024.11.26 00:51 QueeenB_ MRI results - pituitary tumor
Recently an MRI for elevated prolactin levels which showed a micro adenoma in the posterior pituitary. My endocrinologist said this is likely the cause of my elevated prolactin, but that it’s very small and typically doesn’t need surgery (removal).
However, on my MRI the radiologist noted that the pituitary stalk, also known as the infundibulum stalk, was slightly thickened. This raised concern to my endocrinologist and she said I need to see a neurosurgeon for the thickened stalk alone. I went to google (shouldn’t have) and all listed causes of a thickened pituitary stalk are extremely concerning and terrifying.
Has anyone had a MRI which showed a thickened pituitary stalk but it was not a concern for any other disease? Any information would be helpful!

My ex and I split after 13 yrs together . So I'm 42(m) we first met when I was 16 and she was 14 we didn't date at that time but there was alot of flirting. After a couple months she moved to another state we lost contact and really I didn't think of her to much more. So quite a few years goes by and out of the blue she sent me a message on Facebook. She goes on to inform me that she had gotten married a couple yrs back and that they where now divorced and she was moving back to our hometown. We made plans to see each other. When we met up it was instant love on both parts and from that first day we were never apart I mean she came to live with me the very next day and for the next 13 yrs we were great together we never argued I took her son to raise as my own in my world we were a perfect couple. Then she gets a new job and met a few girls she really liked and I was cool with her hanging out with them from time to time. Well one day she comes in tells me hey I'm gonna go stay with ___ for a lil bit I think you should go stay with your brother. I mean caught me completely off guard. So she left I moved to my brother's. I'd call her and we'd talk but she never gave me an explanation why she left and refused to see me. It's been about 6 months and I haven't seen her since that day. We still talk from time to time. In my heart I feel like there was something that brought us back together all them yrs ago. I feel like she was the one that I was meant to be with. I've tried talking to other women and it just makes me feel more empty inside. It feels like she took a large part of me when she left. My life really has been in shambles since. I know this may sound crazy but I honestly feel that I will wait until the end of time for her to come back or I'll die a lonely old man.

Hey, everyone.
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend atmospheric, suspenseful Westerns with adventure and mystery elements. I know that's quite specific, but some comparison novels include S Craig Zahler's "A Congregation of Jackals" and "Wraiths of the Broken Land." I'm especially interested in stories about looming threats, the past coming back to haunt people, etc, that are full of dread. I'm not looking for horror stories per se, but Westerns that embrace some of those qualities are fine.

So I 15 F have really unhealthy sleeping habits . I tend to sleep extremely late like 6 am in the morning or not sleep at all for 2 days before passing out to exhaustion when I enter my bed to sleep and its all because I have a fear of dying in my sleep. For some random reason my brain keeps telling me if I sleep I won't wake up ever again and that has really stuck to me to the point I'm even afraid of taking naps so I came to ask here should I get professional help cause I don't think this is normal for someone my age

- The Island of Mistmoth was cut off from the rest of the world for years during the Crisis of the Tenth Century. It was not expected that the colonists would have survived without trade, but when contact was reestablished, they were unharmed, though not unchanged. - One of the Warlords of Samosan, Nagine, claims to be a disciple of the immortal Red King who ruled the region long ago. Her followers seem to believe that if she prevails, she will ascend to godhood, and rule Samosan for a thousand thousand years as her master did.

Okay so I'm in a rough spot here
With approx 7 days to go for my exam, I have to choose between reviewing NBMEs thoroughly or revising FA
I basically rushed and completed uworld in 45 days ( 75% done with 72% correct ) cuz i have to give my exam by this week no questions. But i didn't get to revise FA and the uworld notes I made in it
I gave NBME 25- 79% ( 158/200 ) NBME 26- 78% (156/200 )
So what should I do in the leftover days. People who gave the exam, did you feel reviewing NBMEs helped in the real deal? Or I can just keep giving them in the last few days and prioritise revising my FA + notes?
