 | Hi guys, Whilst I'm not quite at the point where I'd feel comfortable cosmic casting either weapon or gloves, I'd appreciate some advice. I know the general consensus is SS weapon > SS Boots > everything else. But I'm really enjoying the void power for main stage as it lets me completely mitigate damage against mobs and my boots are already red void which I'm pretty happy with. The only thing I really don't like about my set up atm is my void gloves. Would love the crit boost from eternal gloves, as it would work well with my King set up, but the SS gloves abilith look even better. Considering I will be able to cosmic cast a piece of equipment relatively soon (maybe within a month) would I be crazy to start off with gloves and go weapon then boots after? I’m building a lean-to pergola with polycarbonate roof and wanted to find out ask if I should be using something between the ledger / ridge board and the exterior wall (masonry)?
I am going to be using an aluminum flashing profile to direct water away from the house which will be siliconed in place so I don’t expect any water ingress.
I picked up Bostik Flashband from my local Screwfix thinking to sandwich that between the timber and the wall, am I using the wrong product here and what alternatives should I consider?
My (probably incorrect) thought process was to use it as extra protection against moisture/water.

Hello all. I’m making this post to gauge peoples opinions on my next move in this career path. I’m currently 26 years old with 10 years experience in the industry. Almost 2 years ago now I changed paths from being on install side to management. I started as a PE on a major project doing strictly superintendent work and excelled. Since then I was trusted to run in depth high detail projects as the superintendent although I am still under the title “senior project engineer”. A couple of guys who helped mentor me from my first project left to start their own company and made me an offer. 130k to start to go along with the official superintendent title. They have minimum 2 years of work right now to start valued at around 100 million. Here’s the tricky part, I work at a phenomenal GC worth 4 billion and has been around 25 years. They are well established with a large footprint. I’m in with the right guys here, I’m making 90k right now with my current company and have been told I’ll be at 105k by May along with assistant super title. I also get overtime any hours worked over 40 so at that rate would be around $75 an hour OT. They also fully cover dental and health insurance whereas I’d have to pay $300 monthly with this new company. I struggle with this because I never thought in a million years I’d be offered this kind of money I mean it’s life changing for a young man my age, and I absolutely loved working with the two offering me the job (they were personal mentors to me- almost like family) but at the same time I am with a well established GC with stability. Leave and take the risk for more money? Or stay patient focus on longevity.. thoughts?

So since I’ve been on here complaining I thought it would be a good idea to tell you guys I have finally received a tracking number but wasn’t notified of my order being shipped . I do believe that it was shipped over the weekend because it’s already “moving through the network”. I feel bad for anyone who was ordering for thanksgiving and etc because I doubt you’ll be receiving it beforehand unless you’re near Cali . It’s going on two weeks since placing this order and I’m just now seeing something other than excuses. I also seen people mention it being the holidays and that maybe that’s why shipping is slow? Shipping ,processing and fulfillment are three different things . If lit was pushing orders out efficiently USPS taking a lil long would be the least of our worries .

2024.11.25 22:37 narcissist-_ Black ops 6 high end pc bad performance
So basically I have a rx 7900xt and a 9800x3d and I’m averaging 220-240 fps with amd fsr 3 upscaling. Now for some reason on my 6700xt and 5600x I would get more fps than my current rig. Don’t know how that makes sense. Did a clean windows install and everything. Reinstalled drivers, made sure all my settings were the same from before and still bad performance. My gpu utilization hits 100% most of the time and cpu is averaging around 90%. Anyone with similar specs can share their fps?

I’ve been questing this for a while. I’ve Sherpa’d a lot of raids now, the majority of the people I teach have had an emblem or title of soloing a dungeon, weather it’s shattered throne or vespers. I’ve only soloed prophecy and shattered throne so far and I’ve been trying for a long time to get warlords, I just can’t. I don’t know what I’m missing. I had a friend recently solo vespers had their first soloed dungeon. What am I missing? Am I a bad player?

I (26F) had a baby 9 months ago & unless I’m with my boyfriend, I never know what to say to people now. And I work full time too & I get plenty of adult interaction, so it’s not like I just haven’t been around adults in a while. It’s like I don’t really care what people have to say & I don’t feel like talking to anyone. And when I DO feel like talking, I never know what to talk about. It’s like nothing pops into my head. Even with my own family, people who HELP us with my baby… I don’t feel like talking to them. Is this normal or could it possibly be signaling other issues?

Im a resi installer with a few years of experience, and the vast majority of my work is new construction rough ins. Despite this, about once a week my company is randomly sending me on service calls by myself. I've been trying to learn everything I can online, but I just can't put it together in the field. I'm very rarely getting to work on or even see the stuff I'm watching videos about. I've really started from 0, with things like sequence of operations, electrical theory, but I am consistently panic watching YouTube videos in someone's attic whenever I am actually on a call. I really don't even know where to start, and I'm not getting any guidance at work.
When I first got into install, I spent a solid year as a helper. And gradually worked my way up to a lead. I'm not getting the opportunity to even shadow someone in service, and I'm worried I'm just fighting an uphill battle on YouTube that will leave me with serious knowledge gaps.
Is this normal? Has anyone learned on the job like this, and if so what resources helped you?
