So I rented the reclaimer and really wanted to buy it but the main turn off for me was unloading all the cargo has been a turn off but I still really like the ship. Wonderin if you can sell it straight away at the tdd or something.

I messed up. Last Thursday I did fast stationary bike exercise and since then my inguinal hernia (left groin) has been randomly stabbing me. Surgeon told me take ibuprofen-not helping. I have surgery scheduled in January. My question is Will this pain calm down? Or i will have this till January? Anyone been through this? I forgot to ask the surgeon. I have had no symptoms until now.

2024.11.26 00:53 pyrates how to search by default search engine in first row below address bar
when I type in the address bar, the first row is visit, which gets highlighted. How do I change that so that it does a search using the default search engine?
In order to do a search, I have to first type the @ symbol followed by the text of the search engine I want to use.
Below it is nothing but suggestions from my history.
I want this to work like it did in Chrome. Visit should be the second option at the very least, not the first.
I've already tried this: https://github.com/MrOtherGuy/firefox-csshacks/blob/mastechrome/hide_urlbar_first_row.css
But all it does is remove the first option, which then only shows me suggest options, and no way to then do a search using a search engine.
Another firefox install I have does allow me to search with the first option in the address bar though. I just don't know how I got that working that way. So I know this is possible.

We all know of how awful Hitler was to the Jews, the gays, intellectuals and others. These acts are nowadays considered the exemplar of crimes against humanity (a concept which, I believed was birthed by the reaction to the Holocaust).
But if we were to compare Hitler and the Nazis against the average ruler of the Middle Ages or antiquity how does he fare?
The Vikings, for instance, loved to rape and pillage non-Vikings. How do the Nazis actions compare if we treat the Jews as non-Vikings? The Jews were, of course, not an enemy or even foreigners. They were ordinary German citizens. Did the Vikings or other reputedly brutal civilisations treat citizens who were members of out-groups better or worse than the Nazis?
I know this is a very broad question and it gets caught in cultural relativism (were the Aztecs more brutal to their citizens if being sacrificed to the gods was considered an honour?). So please answer by reference to modern, internationalist standards.
I also know that history is a very big place. So please compare them to the civilisation which is your area of specialty.

Hello! I'm starting a new water fast cycle.
I usually do 6 days water fasting, often loosing 8-10kgs in those days (14 to 22 lbs)
I'm 29, male, 6ft 3 (1.88)
Thing is I'm a little bit too confortable with those results, and don't change my habits, plus that I get depression often and handle that with food.
But, things are getting better. Now I'm at 260lbs, being 198lbs my weight goal in about 6 months.
I want to make a longer water fast now, 10 to 15. If I usuall got to loss 20lbs and after that keep 14-16lbs lost(after eating again) I think a 10 to 15 water fast could give me a little more hope
With all of that, I never ever, used vitamins during water fastings, only a pinch of salt on the 4th day and on.
But, I can't deny that during day 5 and 6 I usually feel a little bad, muscle cramps, feeling a little bit dizzy, but not the end of the world
So I plan to make this water fasting using a multi vitamin.
Not a strong one, just a regular one, 1 pill a day(it even says on label to better take WITHOUT foods for a better iron absortion) so, it's not one of those that you need to take with foods and stuff like that
Any suggestions?

I bought this today and sometimes when my friends speak on PS party I hear a crackling noise. Oddly, all other sounds are always ok (game sounds, music etc).
It happens with multiple friends so the issue is on my side (also, it didn’t happened with my old head phones). Also, their voice sound is not high at all.
I’ve disabled the side tone on the app but aside from that I don’t know what to try.
I’ve the dongle connected on my usb c port of my ps5, and disabled the Bluetooth in my phone to avoid interference (I paired it before as well).
Any ideas? Can it be a hardware issue?

Hey everyone, just got a steal on a used Ormsby Goliath 8 today, and the setup is completely screwed up. This is my first 8 string so I have some questions regarding the setup. Would I go with the “standard” pickup height of 3/32 & 1/16? Also with it being a multiscale would I hold down the last fret on the board for measurement? Also, with this being a hipshot bridge is there a good measuring point for string height off the fretboard? Height appears to be exactly the same. Thanks!
