2024.11.25 23:30 SingingBowels Christmas LED Lights issue

Don’t worry this is not a silly bulb question. Unfortunately I am a licensed electrician and I can’t figure this crap out. Im completely confused as to why the second half of the Nova LED Christmas lights I installed do not light up. I did not test the lights originally on the ground, my mistake. So I purchased a second set of lights thinking the first set was defective. Yes I did cut out some lights because I didn’t need as many as it came with. The set was 100 lights and fused at 3A on the line and neutral inside the male cord connector. When I got the second set of lights I tested it on the ground. All the lights worked fine. Then I cut one light off (last light on the set) and I created the same problem. When I cut the light off it made 3 wires open ended. I took the tail from the last light, connected it to one of the remaining two wires, capped the last wire, and both halves worked again. I took that same tail from the light and connected it to the opposite wire of the two, capped the one not joined with anything and both halves worked again. I was happy I finally got them working so I ripped down the old set and replaced the LEDs with the new set. When it came time to cut some lights off the set I did so (probably cutting off around 15 lights or so). Connected the light tail to one of the remaining two wires but this time it left the second half of the lights off. Then I tried connecting the female cord end to the end of the line of lights I installed. I thought perhaps that would do the trick but had no luck. I noticed 120V power was getting to the end of the line but not to the light tail. It was coming from one of the 2 wires that are not identified. The problem is as I was troubleshooting possible ways to connect the 3 wires i popped the 3A fuses. Now I am waiting on some fuses to figure out what else I can do. I really am very confused as to why it worked on the ground but not in the air. The only thing I altered was I took off more than just one light from the set. Hi there, I've been using Some Crusher-Esque headphones for a while. Their spinny joint broke so I am without portable headphones right now (exept for my JVC SZ1000s but I don't wanna take em outside because I cant replace em and they leak like hell).
So on my lookout for some big driver meanie cans, I've seen the Fiio JT1Ds, they look amazing, are closed, easy to drive, big driver diameter, metal clamp and everything but reviews are kind of all over the place. Some say they are way too bassy ( perfect for me) but some say they have no basshead Signature. Will those with an eq give me the thumpy kicks and thicc subs I want? (the benchmark I wanna get at are my old but lost sony XB950s) and how much sound will those leak? If you think those are not the ones I should go for, any recomendations? Seen the Hifiman sundara Closed while browsing, they also look kinda promising but I really don't know. My phone has a HP Jack and I've got a Fiio BTR3 as options to drive the headphones.

Hi guys, fellow Long hauler here. I've been in a similar hell as most of you here for the majority of this year and I just wanted to offer a little bit of hope.
I thought I was done for, I thought my mind was melting away and my body along with it. Unlike a lot of you, I've only been struggling with this for about a year. I have deep sympathy for those who have been at this for far longer than that.
I think I can safely say that I am fully healed (if not fully, then at least very close). I learned that internal mental self control is the most helpful tool when it comes to this kind of recovery. I realise it isn't always an option, especially when you're in the middle of of a flare-up, but I found that if I keep deliberately choosing to have hope, even when (especially when) it is the last thing that makes any sense, I rewire my brain and my instincts to expect recovery. I've found I can rewire myself to expect that the next few seconds will happen, and every symptom, no matter how bad, will have its time and eventually pass. I had to learn how to be firmly patient with myself and my symptoms. I had to apply extra layers of self awareness to them so I could process them in a gentle but appropriate way.
I won't pretend that it's easy to do this. It was incredibly hard, and even now I still struggle with the odd symptom or two. But I can definitely confirm that I am a million times better than where I was. I can now exercise again, I feel sharp enough to drive and play fast pace video games, I'm focused enough to work on my fine detail model kits, and my emotions are coming back to me more and more each day.
I cut out many inflammatory foods, sugar, and potential allergens, I went to sleep as early as I could, and listened to slow ambient sounds and music at night to keep myself at ease. I found playing gentle video games like stardew valley kept my mind active and focused in a relaxed way so that I wasn't overdoing it.
I was put on sertraline and ritalin, and they both helped in their own way. I had many troubles with benzos, so I don't recommend.
Over this year I've seen many depressing posts about how people have given up and are contemplating redacted My heart breaks for you all, and I'm so sorry that you're going through this. I genuinely pray that you all find something worthwhile to hang on to.
I don't know how well this will be received, but Jesus Christ is Lord, he is powerful and true, and I truly believe that his truth applies even to you whether you know it or not. I doubt I would have survived this if it wasn't for him. I believe he can do the same for you. I believe he healed me, and I believe he can heal you too.

Jsem sám chlap, chci se stěhovat do Prahy a hledám jen něco malého kde můžu sedět na prdeli a programovat, dojít si na záchod a uvařit si. Ale když vidím ceny pronájmu bytů a především chování realitních makléřů, tak je mi na blití. Proto si říkám, zda by nebylo od věci jít do nějakého kancelářského prostoru a prostě tam žít. Objekty, které jsou zkolaudovány jako prodejny nebo sklady. Akorát si nejsem jistý, zda bych jako řadový zaměstnanec na HPP dokázal papírově doložit (a přesvědčivě zahrát) podnikatele, který si chce pronajmout 1+kk nebytový prostor aby tam "pořádal semináře a kurzy a možná tam čistě náhodou z vyčerpání jednou anebo jednatřicetkrát do měsíce usne". A když to náhodou klapne, dřív nebo později na to asi majitel přijde, že tam bydlím. Máte někdo zkušenosti nebo tipy? Ne přes kámoše a známého, ale přes inzerát od cizího člověka.
