Hello, we have a septic system in our home. I noticed a smell coming from the drain in the shower and seen water in the pipe. I was told that the water is supposed to be there to prevent a smell. I noticed about a day after I shower the smell is really strong. Is this normal? How do we get rid of the smell?

sibling got hives all over their body yesterday but they died down. the next evening, hives are back (pics are from the evening, with the second pic being taken only a few minutes after the first). they've also felt sick (cough, lightheaded, slight fever) these past couple of days. they didn't eat anything out of the ordinary, but we did move into a new apartment recently. mattresses were replaced between yesterday and today but the hives came back. however, we've settled in for a couple of days before the allergic reactions started happening. is this something to go to the doctor for? or can we just buy antihistamine products

We went to the land trust dinner this past month and was surprised by the truncated presentation. Ms Youmans, somewhat distractedly, focused on thanking contributing members and there was no annual review as in the past. The gathering was not as congenial as it was in previous years. Maybe this was why?
Does anyone know more about this?

" WENATCHEE ā Eunice Youmans is out as executive director of the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, according to an email from its board president. Rob Shurtleff, president of the conservation nonprofitās board of directors, announced the decision to replace Youmans, effective Nov. 18, in an email Thursday to land trust members.
āThis decision was made with the support of the entire Board and was not made lightly,ā Shurtleff wrote. āWe understand the importance of maintaining a strong and cohesive leadership team to continue advancing the mission of CDLT.ā
Youmans was hired in 2022 to succeed retired executive director Curt Soper. Reached by phone Friday, Youmans declined to discuss specifics of the boardās decision but said, āIām just heartbroken about it. Iām devastated. It's been a nightmare.ā
While the land trust seeks a replacement, Bob Bugert, its executive director from 2007 to 2016, will serve as interim executive director for four months. Bugert āwill work closely with the Board and senior managers Angela Morris and Mickey Fleming to ensure that the organization continues to operate effectively during this transition,ā Shurtleff wrote. Shurtleff noted the board's "sincere gratitude to Eunice for her dedication and leadership during her tenure.
