I'm taking an Intro to Remote Sensing course and we have been using ENVI. To be completely honest I am not very skilled in this software and I just need the credit to graduate
For my final project I'm trying to do something simple, like comparing polar ice sheet thickness from one year to another. I figured this would be accessible and straightforward...
I'll be using ICEsat or CryoSat data but I genuinely cannot figure out how to download it in the school's computer lab in a format ENVI can use and manipulate. I've been trying the National Snow/Ice Data Center and eESA and others

Hey everyone, hoping this post won't break any rules. I fell off my bicycle a month ago and landed hard and got a distal radial fracture. Luckily it's a very minor break and I'm already feeling almost 100% better. I got the bill today and my doctor billed me for the orthotic appliance (wrist brace), the x-ray, the medical visit and surgery. There was no surgery but their billing office says this is totally normal and that surgery doesn't really mean surgery in this case. I googled it and found the following: "If an osteopath bills a "broken" bone treatment as a surgical procedure, they would likely be using an incorrect CPT code, as osteopathic manipulation (OMT) is typically billed using codes within the 98925-98929 range, not surgical codes." The surgery ended up being partially covered and now I'm no the hook for over $500. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this. Appreciate it.

I've not been able to find too much info about this, but how well do the Palma devices respond to a swipe keyboard, like the one g-board uses? I have an an3c and am satisfied with the responsiveness on it, but I'm hesitant if it's less responsive on the Palma devices
I know it's capacitive and not EMR. That's not my concern. Rather how well the device handles that type of input.

Hi guys! Sorry if this isn’t allowed but I told my friend I’d help her in anyway I could.
Recently her hamster passed. It was super unexpected and happened in under two weeks. She woke up one day to find that Hamrietta had a GIANT tumor on her leg. Obviously my friend took her to the vet and they tried to do surgery. Things didn’t work out and needless to say her pet passed.
Normally this wouldn’t be something she would need financial assistance with but recently she’s had a really bad string of luck (she had sepsis and some other medical problems this last month) so she is unable to pay for some of the vet bills and cremation cost.
Anyways I told her I’d share her go fund me wherever I could so that maybe people who could donate one or two dollars would.
Please no harsh judgment, this isn’t even my pet, but I promised I’d share it for her!

Is it safe for an immunocompromised person to be near someone who is receiving BCG treatment for bladder cancer? Would there be any need for them to mask around the patient receiving the BCG treatment?
(These are maybe ridiculous questions but fwiw I know nothing about BCG and wasn’t able to find answers via google search or in the BCG literature)
