 | Chicago? I have other pictures taken by them from 1930s and 1940s. I assumed this picture was taken of a field house or park building in Chicago but couldn't match it. My great-grandma was a patient at Chicago Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium (not necessarily when this picture was taken), but I couldn't match that to historic aerials either. 2024.11.26 01:40 MrCaptain-Z Can't narrow down my poor performance...
I've been using Bazzite for the past few months and I'm loving it so far, but I've been having a persistent performance issue that I can't seem to narrow down. I know I don't have the strongest hardware on the market, but I feel like it should be a bit better then what I'm getting. For example Spongebob Cosmic Shake gets ~25fps at 1080p, while a gtx1050ti laptop I have can run it above 40fps (although that's on Windows 11). That same laptop can do Sonic Generation (the original, not the remake) at ~50fps in 4k, but my Bazzite PC gets half that. I know the RX560 is less powerful than a GTX1050ti, but I didn't think it was by this much?
On top of this performance seems to be much worse in Gaming Mode than it is in desktop. Setting the display to 1080p helps a lot but it's still slightly slower. Of course, I don't expect to play many modern games in 4K, but I'd still like to be able to for lighter titles, something my laptop has no issue with.
I've heard about TDP tweaks and cpu governors, but to be honest it's all a little over my head and nothing I've done seems to make any difference. For what it's worth I have to same issues running ChimeraOS.
I'm running an HP elitedesk 800 g4 35w mini, i5-8500T, AMD RX 560, 16 GB RAM Dual-Channel, 256 GB NVME storage. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!

I'm struggling with eating and both my oncologist and my family doctor are concerned. They haven't said much but I just had to self-report my weight to the psych (I refuse to be weighed anywhere but my scale at home, naked, in the AM) and it was lower than just a couple weeks ago.
I can't eat.
I gag. If I'm hungry...maybe I can eat. If I try and eat otherwise ... I can't hold it down.
I'm getting so damn skinny. It has triggered my anorexia (oh yay) so now I don't know if it's the anxiety, the ED, or the cancer that is causing the total and complete lack of appetite. None. I don't get hungry, well, maybe once in a while, but not often.
I'm sick of this damn disease already and I was only diagnosed in July! I'm not even any closer to treatment, which is 99.9% a good thing and that .1% of me that is frustrated and pissed bc I am feeling horrible, but my numbers are not bad enough for chemo. That makes perfect sense to my sensibility, but not to my impatient ass...sigh.
Grrrrr. I need a hug.

Iām a new casual pve player, today i unlocked the Hell 1. I have a lot of orange weapons and gear, and some green equips, i'm not having any difficulties so far with the combat but the items that is dropping now is ābetterā than mine even the blue ones and this makes me think when iāll have to upgrade my gear. Can you guys tell me how and when i iāll need to spend my resources? I upgraded my orange equipment 2 times but I felt like it was a waste of resources

idk if you guys have noticed in the drawings that were in victor's dad's basement but there were many drawings of a black figure that kind of resembles the babadook and it seems to be recurring in many paintings. it maybe the actual main villain of the story, the malevolent entity. the man in yellow and the kimono lady and the music box entity are probably his little helpers.

We are looking to apply to SNAP in Texas. Family of 3 (31,26,4). We are on a single income because of the cost of childcare and my inability to make as much as it costs.. also, waitlist is 2+ years long.
Our monthly income right now is $1800-$2000. We rely heavily on my from-scratch cooking and food banks to get food.
Iām currently enrolled in college (online, 9 units), which according to the benefits website this disqualifies meā¦ but also- Iām taking care of my son full-timeā¦ which would qualify me?
When I try to call the snap office, it always goes to voicemail. The drive is 45+ minutes to the closest office. Iām just curious if anyone has insider knowledge on this?
