Im looking to build a kids gym in my basement and put some monkey bars and maybe a swing in there. Im wondering if attaching them directly to the i-joists is ok, or should I run a 2x4 across them laterally, then fasten the monkey bars and swing to that? I imagine some adult might also decide to hang off it at some point.
I just don’t know how strong a single i-joist is for hanging things, and i don’t want the bottom flange to rip off.

Given that McKinsey invites are finally out, I would like to setup a thread to have a post-mortem on how people felt the recruiting journey went for them and any thoughts on what this year's results mean about consulting, Mckinsey, the job market, the economy etc. Feel free to rant and offer conspiracy theories as well.
I'll start:
School: T15 Consulting Focused
Office: Philadelphia
Journey: I felt pretty good generally about the journey. I had reached out to a couple of people at my target office. McK had switched up OCRs on us a couple of times so something felt really off for them the whole recruiting season. After I had applied, someone from their target office had reached out to me for a coffee chat so I though I stood a pretty good chance but it looks like no one from my school good an interview from this office among various others.
Impact: Once other companies come out with invites I'll be more confident in my analysis of the industry. I have an invite with another consulting firm(non-MBB) so I don't think it is all doom and gloom yet. It is very possible that McKinsey may just be dying(especially post John Oliver). I know at the previous fortune 100 company I worked for, they no longer get our business because they are too expensive and the work quality is frankly garbage. From the second years I talked to who interned there last summer, it appears start dates are already beginning to be pushed out and there have been some candid conversations about layoffs. The job market definitely feels tighter than the headline numbers seem to indicate.

I’ve met a girl who claims that she’s Russian but I think she’s lying. Recently I met a girl on ig, she was really nice to me and all. She told me she’s from Moscow and when I asked her about the school days she said “oh, hmm my classes start at 8:30, usually end at 18:30, that's how it is..” but I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find a single thing about Russian school days being 10 hours long (She’s in 9th grade and same age as me). My doubts are starting to increase because she said she’s leaving for school but then texted me at 10:27am. I js wanna know if she’s lying or not because I’ve been manipulated by 2 other girls in the past and not to mention her behaviour is pretty suspicious. Like she replies to every single one of my msgs and reacts to them with a heart emoji. She watches all the reels I send her and she also sent me her pictures, but I refuse to believe someone that beautiful could have a heart like that. I have trust issues and got literally no friends cuz of it (irl and online)

I recently purchased a used 2020 Honda Accord and decided to check the tire pressures, even though the tire pressure warning light wasn’t on. I wanted to make sure the tires weren’t overfilled or underinflated. One of the tires was at nearly 43 PSI, so I adjusted all the tires to 32 PSI. However, after making the adjustment, the tire pressure warning light came on. I recalibrated the TPMS, but after driving home, the warning light came back on again. recalibrated it again but now I’m concerned that the light will come back on. do I have to recalibrate it again until it’s reading the proper PSI or is it a faulty sensor?

I've finished my first run siding with Spark for most of it, then Strelok, then getting the Project Y ending
During the main quest there are several quests where you need to pick a side, like the one for getting out of the lesser zone. Is it possible to play through most of the main quest without siding with either the Warden or Spark?
I couldn't find any concrete info on this.

I have owned my home for 2.5 years and for 2 I lived in peace. Once these new neighbors moved in I noticed they had a son around my daughter’s age and immediately went to introduce myself. It was nice. We would go to each others home and it wasn’t weird we were in pajamas.
Then the guys mother comes to visit and she was just a horrible miserable person. Even the wife complained to me. Well back and forth on so many things, they are obviously in their early 20s. Or I try to give them that credit. They built an un permitted fence adjacent to mine while mine holds it up. Then it gets crazier, I took a look what’s going on in that corner. The guy is so crazy that he’s throwing food there and purposely putting wood to weigh my fence down. The food, he said it was compost. A normal person would compost in a garbage can.
We live in an area where it’s super forestry and when it gets colds those animals are looking for a place to go.
I finally got my fence permitted and installed today. I never felt more at peace and this huge asshole weight off my shoulders. I’m no longer going to even drive in their direction. Once the village got word that the fence guys were here (probably a complaint by them) he came to give them a citation and told them to leave me alone. Thank you god sorry guys I was just so happy I got a dang fence installed.
