Been running and training harder than ever this last month because I ship off to Marine Corps officer school in January. I’m new to running, but a distance PR of 8 miles last week, two days later did a fast paced 3 mile, still sore come the long run. A truck was coming in fast so I sped up to cross street and kinda pulled something in my butt. Taken 3 days off to rest if. How many days off before I start losing stamina? Anyone know?

I have about 350 hours of gameplay, playing since August and since the last 2 patches the experience has been very bad.
Here is a report of how my experience has been in the last few days after these patches here on the SA servers:
80% of the matches are without communication, and when they do communicate, it is Argentinians/Peruvians being racists, and even if I report them they continue playing, because I play with the same people practically every day...
People are constantly rage quitting, I had to abandon my last 4 matches because my teammates fed during the laning phase, dying 5 times in 8 minutes and quitting the game.
There is no ganking, it is 100% every man for himself.
The matches are turning into Team Deathmatch only, 8 people in one lane while the enemy creeps take down the towers and walkers for free in the other lanes.
No one cares about the buffs, which are essential to the game. Most of the time I can get both by myself because my teammates and the enemy team simply ignore them.
People don't shoot the soul orbs, and they constantly let the creeps die without last hitting.
Walkers are being lost to creeps while there are people in the lane but they are jungling.
Anyway, it's awful. I think they should separate the ranked game from the normal game again, because it's very unsustainable and stressful to play in the current patch. If they keep it this way, my suggestion would be to return the matchmaking to how it was done before the ranked game existed, there were much more balanced matches than stomps (at least in my experience). Anyway, here's the report, leaving this here and on the forum, hope the devs improve this things because I love this game.
Remembering that this is a report here from the SA servers, I follow a lot of NA streamers and the quality of the matches is enviable, even if it is not perfect as some report...

2024.11.26 01:58 SkyKinghorn Is Playstation worth getting as a standalone device now that you can stream.
Titles says it all. Now that you can stream and suppibly soon stream not just the stream catalog of 200 games, but the you decided to buy digitally in the not so distant future.
I have 600mps plus download speed and am 25 minutes from Los Angles where I am guessing their is a data center.
Wondering what the streaming would be like. Could I really expect to play at 1080 res and 60fps?
What do we think?

Usually I just watch English speaking franchises, so I don't feel so overwhelmed.
But now my focus is on UK6 and TH3 (I'm south east asian). But people have been really recommending DU3 since it's amazing but I can't focus or even remember the queens. I wanna get into it but it's so much content that it's overwhelmed.
Now CA5 is starting, I've always watches DRCA but I can't start either, atheist not until UK6 is over. And in January, US17 is coming, I definitely cannot miss that. I feel like that girl in the too many pancakes meme. Now I have to select which one I'd have to miss. 😅
Does anyone else feel like this? Why would they ram everything in November? It's very overwhelming. I'll watch it eventually but I'm just scared that I'll see some spoilers before I actually watch the show.

Hi all, I need some advice regarding an authorship issue worked as a junior researcher for a while. The PI I was working with was especially nasty to me because I was leaving to start a PhD at a prestigious university. He has tried blocking a publication I have worked on towards the end and made the work environment extremely toxic. Due to this, I do not want to be associated with him or his work in anyway. I also want to teach him a lesson about blocking honest publications because of his issues and insecurities. He has a paper coming soon for which I have contributed a figure’s worth of data (I haven’t written anything) and I have some questions.
- Can I say “no” to authorship and on what grounds?
- Can that publication be stopped because I said “no” since some of the data was produced by me?
- If the paper gets published in a journal where authors aren’t asked if they support or not. How can I ask that my name be removed?

I’m not trying to defend him. I genuinely do not care for him and do not have an opinion either way about him.
But is their another reason why we should hate him besides “the quality of music the band made declined since he got involved"? I do agree that objectively, the quality of the Bon Jovi sound went down. But the hate feels so intense that I feel like there’s got to be something more.

I'm planning on going to Puerto Escondido for a month in January to work/live - I've read tons of info about PE in this subreddit and the wifi definitely seems unreliable. I need stable connection for Zoom calls to do my job.
My plan is to live in a co-living space near La Punta [called El Mundito] and work from either Selina or Casa Losodeli - Has anyone had any experience co-working from any of these 3 places they could share with me?
Also - I've heard people use hotspots or portable backups for when the outages happen - What are they like?
