Voilà que l'ampoule de vide me tire, m'agrippe et m'attire. Elle me brûle, tente de s'extirper de ma chair, de mes pores, de mes yeux, de tout mon être. La fièvre n'a plus rien à me prendre mais elle revient tous les soirs, à la manière d'une habituée cherchant la salvation du fond de son verre aux abîmes de sa gorge.
Qui aurait cru qu'un silence pouvait bourdonner avec tant d'impétuosité ? Mais c'est tout moi. Je la garde sous cloche, loin des incendies : elle est emmitouflée sous un kilo de vérités non dites, un gramme de bienséance et une pincée d'amiabilité.
Tu sais très bien ce que tu fais. J'ai arrêté il y a bien longtemps de tendre la main à celle qui prétend poncer du cuivre pour en faire de l'or. Et pourtant, tu ne te défiles pas ! Avec chacun de tes mots, chacune de tes caresses, tu t'enlises davantage en moi, tu te souilles sans même t'en apercevoir.
Vas-y, découpe chaque couche, défais chaque ficelle, jette chaque outil qui se terre tout au fond de mon atelier.
Seras-tu toujours là, une fois ton oeuvre achevée ? Tu découvriras alors que la vérité est tant dérisoire qu'elle en devient cruelle. Qu'il ne subsiste même pas de feu. Rien que l'absence de ce que j'aurais pu être.

I picked up an order today $4 for 3.5 miles from Little Caesars. Not a bad order, small, but I got the vibe that it had been sitting for a while. It was the first order of the day and left me in a decent area too.
The note told me to drive to the end of the street instead of going into the apt complex. When I got there, the man said "is it pizza?" I said yes, had him verify the name, and then handed him the order. He was patting his pockets, awkwardly holding his pizza in one hand, and said "wait. I have something, it's not much, but I wanted to give you something."
I was surprised and assured him he didn't need to (I honestly thought the order was pretty decent, even without the tip) He said, "I really don't have much." And handed me $4. He had no idea he had just doubled my earnings!!! And he felt bad about it 😭 he was so kind.

Many airlines changed their protocols this year because of rising incidents involving heavy turbulence.
A Singapore Airlines passenger died and dozens more were injured during severe turbulence in May. The airline then announced it would no longer serve meals when the seatbelt sign was on.
It was followed by a change in protocol at Korean Air, which decided to end its cabin service early and stop serving instant noodles to economy passengers.
Korean Air said turbulence had "become a persistent and growing problem in recent years." It added that the number of incidents had doubled in the first quarter of this year compared with the same period in 2019.
It also suggested the climate crisis had had an impact, citing "large temperature differences between altitudes."

I’m not sure if this is the right community to ask but thought someone here would know. I installed Fujitsu airstage split units in my home. They work great so far have no issues only two complaints. In heat mode it seems like whatever I set the temperature to be it’s always a couple degrees off meaning it’s cooler so I have to bump up the temp on the remote. I usually keep my house 70 degrees. Any insight as if this is normal? My second one is the remote range. I’ve read it should be able to read up to 7 meters away. Im lucky if mine work when I’m 6 feet away. I had these professional installed and the company came, measured sq ft of my home so I don’t think it is like they can’t keep up with what I’m asking them to do. Outside temps haven’t been super cold yet averaging around 35-40 degrees at night. Thanks in advance!

 | I’ve had her for over 10 years, I got her as a recognizable lil birb when I was in middle school and I’m 30 now. I have the big cup style feed bowls for her water and food, and she has been sitting on them, usually at sleep time, pooping in her food and water sometimes. I know she just needs a place to properly sit, but she was egg bound a very long time ago (maybe I was a freshman in high school?), and I’m weary of giving her anything resembling a nest. She’s well right now of course, she got a nice bit of scritching done, I think I did a good job lol. I always clear her bowls out and give her fresh seed and water, I just don’t like getting home from work and seeing she dirtied her stuff. I was thinking of getting the ones she has to stick her head in, I just feel bad taking away her only “seat” in the cage. Hoy durante todo el día estuve intentando solucionar este problema, y estoy seguro de que a alguien mas le puede pasar, soy de argentina y usuario de Starlink, el día de hoy me dio un problema el servicio de Xbox Cloud Gaming debido a un "problema regional" vi muchos foros y gente que le paso lo mismo pero sin encontrar una solución. Resulta que fue tan simple como desconectar el router unos minutos y volver a conectarlo, después de eso todo funciono correctamente y no me dio ningún "problema regional". Solo desenchufar, esperar unos 5/10 minutos y volver a conectarlo.

Hello all,
I've been having persistent issues recently for my XPS 8930. I know its an older model since I've had this rig since 2017. Recently, when Im booting the pc, and sometimes running different applications under heavy load the hard drive (intel optane+932gbhdd) starts to spike at 100% disk usage. I've even had problems with windows updates failing. I suspect that the hard drive is finally failing on me.
What would the best replacement for this hard drive be? I want to buy an SSD but I've heard something about needing to use an optane HDD for the best results. I'm not looking for a crazy expensive part, just anything low-mid range is fine since I'm dedicating this PC for office work.
