I (33M) have been seeing this woman (33F) for a little bit of time now maybe about a month. We generally had a great time together. Last couple times we got intimate I couldn't stay hard. Actually the first time I just got really nervous right before sex and it killed it. She just got upset and rolled over.
Then the next time we were getting intimate I got way too drunk and believe I got the case of whiskey dick. She said she feels like she's been rejected and she's never had that before. I explained to her that I'm just getting a bit nervous but also I drank too much as well last couple times. I told her it's temporary, that it's me not her, and that it can sometimes be common with new partners. Reassured her that I'm still highly attracted to her and that I want her.
She wasn't having any of it, said she has a hard time believing it's not her. Told me I shouldn't be trying to get into a relationship until I figure that part out and stop making other people feel like how she's feeling. Told me she doesn't like how this situation has made her feel and she doesn't really want to be any part of it. I've treated her like a princess up to this point and she's been loving it telling me how grateful she is. I asked her if that meant anything to her or is it just about the sex now. That's when she said she doesn't want to talk to me anymore.
I mean it feels kinda shitty but at the same time I don't think she was being very reasonable. Life is full of problems, you figure it out, and move on. That's my mentality. When the first incident happened I took some time to reflect on it and decided to stop watching porn all together, decrease masturbation frequency, diet changes, just change some habits that should increase arousal in the moment. I was feeling confident for the future, and she just dipped. I just hope this situation doesn't turn into a mental thing that affects me with my future partners if you know what I mean.
