I purchased a 2024 WRX that I didn’t get a chance to test drive. The car came with a short throw shifter and an exhaust (both Subaru STI brand).
My wife does not really like the rumble. To be honest, I don’t mind it. I used to ride motorcycles; so, I have grown accustomed to steady drone of the exhaust. Although, I will admit it can be annoying on long road trips.
But anyway, I’d like to address the exterior sound without removing any parts. I don’t want to put stock exhaust back on the car, I feel I could spend the money in a better way.
So, what I want to do would be to find way to make the cabin more soundproof. Maybe Dyno-Matting or something like that? The intention of course would be to make the cabin quieter..
Has anyone ever used or done anything like that to a VB? Do you know of any good videos or any good companies in the southwest Colorado area that would be worth researching?
Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance!

I have a U200 and have it added to HomeKit via matter (no hub). The auto lock feature appears and when I set it, it works for a day or two and then gets reset to deactivated. Any ideas ?

I've made sure my firewall is open with port forwarding to 8444 or 1 to 99999.
GUI is updated to the latest. Was working till 5 days ago. Can't seem to fix it.

I hope I’m not out of line posting here—still figuring this Reddit thing out, so bear with me! My dad used to tell me all sorts of stories about military history when I was a kid, and recently, I’ve been going through some of his old notes and collections.
One thing that’s been sticking in my mind is something he mentioned about the USS Maine explosion during the Spanish-American War. He said some artifacts and weapons, like rifles, actually survived the wreck in various conditions. Now, I’ve been trying to dig into whether any Winchesters or similar firearms might’ve made it out in decent shape, but I’m hitting a wall finding any solid info.

my ex bf (21m and 20m) of 2 years broke up with me last sunday, we officially stopped talking the next day after he returned my things. it wasn't a rude or otherwise "bad" breakup by any means. I'd let my social anxiety get the best of me over the last year and became so socially isolated that he was basically my only irl friend. for the most part, it wasn't a huge problem, because we're both very introverted by nature (I'm autistic, and we've wondered if he might be as well) and he's never been the type to have many irl friends, if any. but he'd just reached a breaking point because he'd gotten busier with work and school and he'd just been spending way too much of his own free time with me. although it came as a complete shock to me because it was so random (literally happened at the end of a nice day together, right before we were going to make dinner at his place. it wasn't something he was planning), ultimately I think he made a good choice. it had gotten very stressful for both of us and neither of us were doing very well mental health-wise. we both said we still really loved each other and that we wanted to reconnect some day. I even said that maybe one day we could try our relationship again and make it work out. he said he had the same hopes as me (unclear if he meant this about rekindling). we left off saying that the other could contact us at any time for anything.
here's my issue: bc things were left on a fairly vague note on his end, I'm unsure if he's open to the idea of rekindling after some time apart, and I want to discuss what each of us want the end goal of this situation to be. the specifics of our relationship and the breakup make rekindling a very possible outcome that could definitely work out if we both wanted it to, so I think we need to address the possibility at some point and see what each of us want.
on friday I texted him (after struggling to decide whether I should) because I'd just paid him back for something on venmo and I wanted to make sure he got it. I also let him know that I wanted to talk to him at some point about this whole situation and what we each want out of it, and he said we could do that, just not for now. perfectly fine with me, I didn't want to talk yet either. but then today I reached out again bc he'd posted a very vague and cryptic message on multiple platforms that reminded me of a time when he was suicidal and he'd done something similar. he said he was alright though and explained it was something completely different. I apologized for the confusion and said I just wanted to make sure he was okay. we decided we'd catch up later whenever we decided to talk about this whole situation in general. I told him I felt like I was pretty ready and knew what I wanted to say and what I wanted to come out of this, but for him to take his time and reach out whenever he felt ready.
I just feel really dumb for reaching out twice after not even a week 😓 I really do want to respect his privacy and give him space (and give myself space too. seriously, I know I need it). I wouldn't have reached out unless I needed to or I thought he was unsafe, and that's what I did both times. but I still just feel awful for potentially disturbing him and his own healing process. and I just really hope he doesn't think I'm acting desperate. but anyway, for the meantime I'm going to try to be better at just ignoring his online presence altogether and committing harder to focusing on myself.
