I'm new to the game, just beat the final boss today for the first time, and i've been watching some lore videos to better understand the story.
So, I know from item descriptions that Marika is a numen from outside the lands between, then I learned from a video that her hometown was a village in the land of shadow (shaman village), so my question is this: are the numen from the land of shadow? Or is shaman village just where she lived when she came to the lands between? Can someone explain please?
I still haven't started the dlc yet, so idk if this gets answered somewhere in there.

What kinds of political organizing is going on in the Capital region? I am on the left and I don’t see a whole lot. It’s just people getting pissed about Trump and the republicans. And of course there are those who voted for Trump in order to attack the democrats which they want to crush like we are in a civil war. Meanwhile the democrats are acting like this is a therapy session and want to cry and do “self care.”
The democrats, our “leaders” are going to fuck up again if we don’t do something which will earn us another 4 years of Vance. I’d like to do something strategically instead of just holding a sign. I stopped wanting to go to protests twenty years ago. They don’t work.
I want to meet people and work on something together in a constructive way.
