2024 Chrome Hobby box disappointment Although my favorite 2024 cards are the helmets and drivers with their cars, I'm kind of disappointed by the quality of 2024 sets. The contouring does an awful effect of misprint, the centering is criminal and having numbered or auto cards for F2-F3 kills the chase imho.
I've tried one box of each offering for 2024, and that's it.
I've put some comparison with the best looking Attax 2024 cards and the texturing of them is much nicer even though their thickness is lower.
Distribution of cards is something like 50% F1, 50% F2+F3.

A bit of a story.
tldr: Rub dirt into cuts in your wart. It seems to have worked for me.
I have had a group of common warts on my hands for about 10 years. It was small and not too annoying for a few years, but as I ramped up my attempts to get rid of them, the problem grew.
The original wart was on the knuckle closest to my fingertip on the pointer finger. I think because of this location, many therapies has a hard time. Duct tape, apple cider vinegar, and liquid nitrogen were the more conventional means I used. They eventually caused the wart to spread to other places on my hands and fingers. Eventually I had around 10-15 small warts, with a dime sized cluster on the original knuckle location.
Everything I did seemed to make things worse. Eventually I tried more extreme methods, like burning them off with a soldering iron and taking massive doses of zinc to try and kickstart my immune system. Nothing worked.
I joked with people about cutting off my finger. Half serious.
One day though a bit of bad luck turned into a good opportunity to try one more remedy that I remembered reading about. While opening the man door to my garage, which has a doorknob placed too close to the jamb of the door, the buildup of skin on my original knuckle wart caught on the jamb and ripped the top of the wart mostly off. I had a good dangling bit of wart - partially attached -and a lot of bleeding where it used to be attached.
At that moment I remembered a Reddit comment that said "my dad's doctor told him to cut some slices into the wart and rub some dirt in it, it fixed the issue". With nothing to lose, I grabbed a handful of dirt, shoved it under the skin flap onto the bleeding portion, and clamped the loose skin down on top of it, sealing the dirt in. I then taped the skin flap down temporarily because I still had things to do.
A few hours later (maybe 5ish) I washed the bulk of the dirt out without scrubbing too hard. I also removed the flap of wart/skin.
I didn't have high hopes or anything, but as of about a month later, my warts are slowly disappearing. The original injury site is pretty much clear, and I can see the redness/spots on the other warts on my hands that seem to show they are dying.
Knowing the warts are tricky because HPV is good at hiding from the immune system, I think heavily contaminating the wound with foreign mattebacteria allowed my immune system to be active enough in the area to develop some countermeasures to the virus.
Hopefully they continue to recede, but if you are struggling with warts, and feel like you've tried everything: Rub some dirt in it.

Texas barn uses teen riders to train or ride horses for owners who pay to have their horse ridden while out of town or for training purposes. Some of these teens enter this riding program for middle or high school PE credit, which seems like fair exchange. Many aren't being paid but barb says they are getting experience by riding these horses (which is supervised but not an official lesson). Should the teens be paid? Is this legal for the barn to not compensate the teens even though they are charging the horse's onwer for this ride?
