Hello. About maybe like 6 months ago i made a post about FAD. It was like right around when I joined reddit and was still new to FOB I was asking about what the hype of FAD was since I genuinely didn't like it back then. This post will be an update on that and also like a part 2 with a specific song.
Update with how that went. It was months ago when I was singing to myself in the shower "the last time you cane through, oh darling I know what you're going through-" so only so forth. I had no clue what that song was until I searched it. Back the only song I cared for from FAD was I Dont Care (ironic). Then I next had "Then came a baby boy with long eyelashes" stuck in my head during a shower. I started listening to that song. It infiltrated my mind. I had heard every song from FAD atleast once when I asked what the hype was since I forced myself to listen, I just didn't like it back then. Now I'm obsessed. My fav song all time is WACD. My favorite 3 songs from the album are TS(G)S, (CFC), and WACD which all come right next to eachother funny enough.
Now i have a new thing I'll get bashed for... everyone always is like "The (After) Life Of The Party is the best FOB song 😍😍" and i just can't stand it. The background noise?! I don't know what it even is it's that stupid 'du du du du' i don't know, it makes my ears bleed. I don't fully understand the lyrics. Is there like a history to the song or SMTH?? Like is didn't like Bang The Doldrums until I heard all the Petekey history and now it love it. But seriously, what is the hype? 😭 I mean this in the nicest way possible, I want to get into the song but I just can't get into TALOTP. There's only 2 FOB songs I can't stand. Sunshine Riptide and TALOFTP... I also can't stand CBTS EOWYG edition but that doesn't count since I enjoy the version from TTTYG. Seriously though, what's the hype? The song just is like- no... 😭. And before you say "Maybe it's just personal taste" I LOVE ALL FOB SONGS I am an ADDICT. I just don't know why people love TALOTP so much ((for) stardust). I have 55 thousand minutes of FOB streamed and somehow I still can't take it. It's my 87th most streamed FOB song but that's not saying much seeing as it's only 106 minutes compared to my top song 'Golden' which is at 13,000ish minutes. Please please someone explain why the song is so loved in the Fandom. This is my new FAD.
TL:DR- Why is The (After) Life Of The Party such a hyped up song in the fandom?
