So many people say the police don’t care about it and they won’t do anything is this true? Not that I’d ever do it just I don’t belive this surely the police would do something but they only seem to sometimes. Someone from my college got took to the police station for stealing £1,000 worth of stuff but nothing happened after that and she continues to steal, why do the police not care?? And some lady got charged over 100 for shoplifting near me and nothing happened to her. Why do the police not seem to care sometimes but they do other times?

Hii, so since about a few days ago i (F22) noticed how all the 18+ content i had (websites and some apps) are now suddenly not allowong me to use them. I looked at the settings but only with discord can i add to allow 18+ contents with apps. The websites tell me i have to adjust it in my IOS settings. Now i looked at every single one of my settings and i cannot find how to change it. The apple support and google cannot find it either. Most other things i find have changed since the last year or so. I have an Iphone 13, softwhere update 18.1.1. My birthdate is in my icloud and my phone settings / info as well on the websites and apps. How can i view the 18+ content again?

2024.11.26 04:30 your-moms-dispatcher Struggling with Satellite Placement
I just recently purchased a 3 pack of the BE65 Pro devices. I’m struggling with satellite placement. I’ve noticed both satellites have a somewhat harder time to connect to the main.
I’ll try to setup my space as visually as possible. My house is about 2500sqft. Rectangular shaped house with the length being longer than the width. I have a basement and an upstairs. All bedrooms are upstairs on the left side of the house. The main connection is in the far left corner of the basement. Directly above it is the master bedroom where I have a satellite. In the living room, about 50 feet away, there’s another satellite. Both satellites are back hauled wirelessly. I don’t have the ability nor time to back haul them with Ethernet. I know I’ll have some degradation, but I’m noticing a 500mb drop in speeds regularly.
I have about 20ish devices on the network at a given time so I’m not stretching my bandwidth
Do you have any suggestions on placement. Should I place 2 in the basement and one upstairs? I’m open to hearing your feedback!

Wasn't sure whether to put this under school or advice, but I think it fits more in the advice category. I'm a young GenZ teen, just turned thirteen a few months ago, actually. Sadly, I'm quite into politics and things involving the world in general. I am a democrat and I've known that I'm gay since I was eleven. Being a bit of a dumb kid, I told my friend that I liked him last year and everything fell apart.
I didn't know I lived in a shitty red pocket in my state until recently. Now, I don't have any friends, and I'm openly gay at my school. Kids are assholes and no one cares about me much. I've been a bit "depressed" or whatever the right word is to fit my emotion of nothing; not sure if depressed is it. Do any LGBTQ+ teens have any advice for someone in my situation?

 | I’m really bummed right now. Started tumbling this year and have had a few batches already. Decided to do a quartz batch this time around. Stage 1 ran these out fairly well and had no cracks. But in Stage 2, I was really shocked to see how cracked these came out. I cleaned these up with a toothbrush to try and get rid of grit. Wondering what my next move should be to try and smooth this out, if I should go back to Stage 1 or if I should do something different for Stage 2? Even though I’m sad, it’s all part of the learning process and still love this. Mom recently mentioned a situation involving my uncle, where his wife was invited to an anniversary party, but my uncle was not mentioned or invited—only his wife.
Some context, My uncle and aunt for many years basically only had this couple ( who had their anniversary) as their friends, so they used to hang out alot, go on trips together, etc. Eventually my uncle began expanding his friend group so he was not able to spend as much time with his once close friends, but my uncle would still always help out whenever they asked for it and hung out with them whenever he could. But slowly their relationship weakened and the couple would make constantly make snide comments about how my uncle " has changed alot" and "you don't need us now that you have new friends".
I felt like my aunt should have not gone to a party filled with people who straight up disliked my uncle or never lost an opportunity to undermine him, and should have politely made some excuse to not go.
Mom said i am being extremely naive and that this is "not how the real world works". I do lack social experience and i do tend to make rash decisions in social situations but i sincerely believe in my opinion on this situation so i am confused.
What would you do in this situation?
