OK, weird request since I dont normally like love triangles. Also, this request is inspired by a dream I had last night.
Basically a FMC in a relationship of convenience/political advantage, the man she's put with isnt interested or is apathetic. But there's someone else who originally isn't interested, thinks this having to deal with this is a nuisance (like a body guard or culture tutor or someone who has to interact with the FMC) but eventually comes to see that the FMC is intelligent/interesting/etc. Possible third guy who has his own nefarious plans on FMC, that part wasnt super fleshed out.
No reverse harem, I have trouble keeping the guys in order and that's more thinking than I'd care for right now.
Non-fantasy is totally acceptable! This is just the only book sub I could ask (I'm also in what is that book)

2024.11.26 04:44 avidrunner84 Ethernet and Wifi at same time for faster performance? (Powerline)

I have powerline with ethernet but the speed is only 50Mbps. Wifi is 500Mbps but I notice lag while on wifi sometimes while gaming (wow), even though powerline is slower it's more stable and I don't notice that. Would it be possible to use ethernet and wifi simultaneously within macOS or is it basically treating each connection type as a unique IP and impossible to do that?

I am looking for suggestions on where to find a good dedicated gaming table. I am NOT looking for a table that can double as a dining room table; I have a dining room table in my dining room, I am now looking for a dedicated gaming table to go in a dedicated gaming room. When I’ve looked online what I’ve mostly found among high end gaming tables are pieces whose virtues seem to be their ability to convert from gaming to being very nice dining tables. While I am not turned off by a gaming vault or topper pieces, I am much more interested in desks and drawers built in for players, cup holders, or other sorts of things I can’t even imagine right now. I remember years ago looking at the old Geek Chic Sultan table and imagining the day I could get one of those; now I’m looking for something along that line. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Of just pulling out my life savings, getting an Uber or a flight to Oregon. Throwing out my phone, completely disregarding work. To have a month of consequence free fun. Staying in a nice hotel (nothing luxury just nice). Going to the local beaches both nude and not nude. Maybe trying to offer some pretty woman(pun intended) a bunch of money to tolerate me for a bit. Good food, go to somes shows or listen to some music in the area. Walk through some parks and enjoy nature, just sit in the stillness for awhile. See some water falls, take in the mountains Then sign up for hospital assisted euthanasia. Just a fantasy but it sounds so alleviating, and it would be a happy ending.

I have been on birth control since I was in my mid teens. Horrible period pain kept me on them to be able to function. Prior to taking oral contraceptives I had taken Depo as well as the arm implant. After 3 years the arm implant was placed in the same place, somehow sterile field had been contaminated and it became infected. I had a softball sized lump of swelling where the implant was placed. It had been successfully removed but it was awful.
I have been off of Junel Fe for about a year and have experienced one menstrual cycle lasting 5-6 days. I have experienced wicked body aches near a time where I would get my period along with rolling fevers/generalized fatigue.
This isn’t meant to scare anyone but I feel like I have a period without actually having one. It’s guttered my mental health, despite not experiencing the heavy period pains with bleeding I had, but rather dull aching pain constantly. I have gone to an OB and she just sent me off stating that it can take a while to return to normal but I’m just feeling like a year is long enough.
I am kind of hoping (but also not hoping because it sucks) that someone has had a similar experience and HAS returned to normal?
