2024.11.26 04:48 Meikle_ Red light on CPU and DRAM
Put together a my first new build:
MOBO: ASROCK B650M HDV/M.2
CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 7600X
PSU: Seasonic RM1000X GOLD (Working from prior build)
RAM: G Skill Flare DDR5 6000 16GB x 2
GPU: 6700XT (Working from prior build)
CPU COOLER: PHANTOM SPIRIT 120SE
When I fully built the computer I receive a solid red motherboard light on the DRAM and CPU and no output to my monitor.
Fixes I have tried:
All psu cord connections checked
BIOS is up to date
Ram reseated and all possible configurations attempted with 1 or 2 inserted
All parts but MOBO, PSU and CPU removed
CPU removed checked for damage and reseated
Keen to hear advice as I’m unfamiliar with next steps necessary.

Ripple Labs Inc. Chief Executive Officer Brad Garlinghouse mentioned in a recent interview with Bloomberg that "we're starting to see a basket ETF filing that contains 5 or 6 crypto's in it." Anyone know what he's talking about or knows how to find these ETF filings? He also said "it’s just inevitable” that the company’s XRP cryptocurrency will be offered through an exchange-traded fund. Said there have been 2 filings about that. And just to confirm, this post is not about XRP... I'm just hoping to find someone in here that has information/knows how to access this so-called "basket ETF filing." Very curious what 5 or 6 cryptos are showcased within that filing.

Hello everyone. As the title says, I will be staying in northern Italy for a few months during the summer and the beginning of fall, probably after I graduate from college in May. I'm going to be working on a farm for a little while in Albiolo (like 15km west of Como). Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice in terms of cool day trips to take that are close by there or just like random cool small towns in northern Italy to check out. It’s amusing …How a psychology group will block you… This is piggy backing off a previous complaint as you’ll see on my previous posts. Just wanted to bring it up again.
It speaks volumes to the practices of this branch of science that is to remain open to interpretations when challenging existing and current ones that happen daily.
There’s no real certainty that exists in the realm of psychology (where do they anywhere?) that there should ever be such intimidation warranting obscurities to its own developments, exploring more complexities it claims to have expertise in and welcomes.
We are those experiences in action and we have a best guess of these behaviors that overtime expressed in reliabilities, not certainties.
So if there’s that then the offenses really shouldn’t occur to defend much of anything with that level of continued openness. Then being wrong when proven, or dismantled in some way shouldn’t be a problem and no need to create mechanisms to be protected by. Discoveries of the mind, behaviors, and its abilities can continue on without any personal objections impeding progress that wants and needs to be made.
If this can be done here this can hopefully have the effect it can broadly impact other domains providing the much needed evidenced infusions to accommodate differences that can be actioned successfully.

Hello, I’ve been diagnosed for DpDr for about 3 years now. I’ve always felt the symptoms of dpdr since I was a kid but thought it was normal for so long until I had a year long episode and tried to jump off a roof at a party…(I grew up in a very abusive home and was refused therapy or treatment until I was 17) My psychiatrist says I have a very easily triggered mind unfortunately, and I have multiple episodes a week. But This is my first time thinking of trying to find others that struggle with the same issue and I just feel so excited to know I’m not alone in this odd situation, so I obviously have quite a few questions of if anyone else experiences the things I do. But Lately I’ve just been struggling with feeling real. I’m in an episode of constant anxiety and not feeling real and I’m scared of things getting worse like it has been before. (I felt invincible and tried to jump off a roof) When I get into these episodes I just feel invincible, but this time I just feel different and just here in the world, like nothing really matters but it does if that makes sense. I’m here but I’m not at the same time. How do you guys get out of this? Is there a way to stop it or help ground myself? I’ve tried many things over the past 2-3 years and genuinely can’t prevent big episodes like this. Another question is- I was just on an airplane the other day and was wondering if that affects anyone else? Because I genuinely just feel so out of it since I’ve gotten off the plane, having that “dizzy” realization of this isn’t real just keeps hitting harder and harder. This has happened once before and it took 1-2 weeks to go away and I’m wondering if anyone else has this issue? I also had another question of if anyone else has smoked weed and gotten stuck in a loop aswell? And by a loop I genuinely mean a loop. For instance when I used to smoke (stopped once I got diagnosed) but I would disassociate hard, so this one time I was sitting with friends stoned and started to fall and screamed “IM FALLING” then I’d catch myself and then go “nvm I’m good” then I’d fall again and do that on repeat for an HOUR until my friends said ”go get water”. (This is before I was diagnosed) Then at some point I got out of that loop and started a new one by trying to get water think “I should go back” then redo that until someone stopped the loop and sat on me until I fell asleep. Last question I have is, when someone says “this isn’t real” or something along the lines of you aren’t real or anything like that does anyone else just immediately disassociate aswell??? Because one small sentace can trigger things heavily for me. But do you guys experience any of these issues either?

I have a budget of $1500. I specifically saved up for this to get the best quality headphone that I can get. I am in the United States.
My normal style of headphones are something like Fostex Th900 or Sony's headphone lineups. I love the sub bass in these headphones.
However I want to feel the wind when playing games. Looking for a massive soundstage where I can feel the air move. Even where explosions sound 3 dimensional and can rumble. These headphones will be for movies and games.
Also I am thinking open back may move more air but not entirely sure. If it came down to it, it truly doesnt matter open or closed back I just want the sound that fits the criteria
That being said what are you recommendations for high quality over ear cans that fit the bill?

I’ve recently been cast in Dogfight, in a (semi-invented) female ensemble. I’m playing Suzette (Fector’s date to the Dogfight), Chippy (the prostitute Bernstein loses his virginity to), and a background character in a few other scenes.
I know in the original cast there were only 4 female actors in the show: the ones playing Rose, her mother, Marcy, & Ruth Two Bears. And together they played Suzette, Chippy, Peggy, and other small parts.
My question is… why? And… how? Isn’t it more confusing for the audience that way? How do you even do the actual dogfight scene? There are more than 4 girls at the party! Why not simply hire 2 additional female actors, so you don’t have to be re-costuming your leads as new background characters every few minutes?
I assume it was an economic choice, but does anyone know if there are other reasons for it that I’m not seeing? Lol. I’m just intrigued!
