Hi everyone,
This subreddit is growing fast and I'm not always as prompt with removing some posts / comments as a subreddit of this size & type really needs. Therefore I'd like to add some assistant moderators.
I'm staying on as the main mod; your main responsibility would be to help review content here and apply the rules to remove posts or whatever as needed. We would also discuss new rules and other changes to the subreddit as a group. I'm not expecting any major additional time commitment if you're already a regular reader / commenter here. I'd reserve the right to disagree / override you if I feel strongly about something but I'm not a totalitarian either. If you consistently abuse moderation powers or make otherwise questionable decisions I may remove / replace you. I'd give warnings before taking any kind of action like that though.
This subreddit is mostly working professionals so thankfully there isn't tons of moderating needed, but sometimes things get posted / commented that should be removed ASAP and that's mostly what I'd like help with.
If you're interested please send me a message. I would expect you to have been active on the subreddit for at least a year and not have any major moderation strikes against you in the past. Please tell me your background showing reasonably high expertise with Autolisp (LinkedIn profile links are fine but not mandatory; I don't need to know your real name). I’m the bioinformatician of a research lab and I contributed heavily to the project of a senior PhD student. I analyzed the data from top to the bottom, I brainstormed all issues, I established technical requirements like applying for grant to have access to HPC etc. It also felt like my project too, I spent my 80% of working hours with this project only. Now she is writing the paper, yes I somehow couldn’t contribute to writing because I was still busy with preparing last things to do for the paper, and I am second author but not a shared co-author. To be honest I thought I will be. I am not very much aware of the “rules” to determine if someone deserves to be a shared co-author or not. What’s the threshold there? My boss and colleague are kind and nice people, I am also surprised that this didn’t happen automatically. I want to ask the boss why they made this decision but I am also afraid to ask for something that I shouldn’t have because of whatever reason. What you guys think? What should be the contribution to deserve the shared co-authorship?

I was excited to receive my NotePin today! I fully charged it and used it during a 30-minute meeting, and a couple of hours later, the app showed the battery level was low and that it needed to be charged.
Has anyone else experienced any battery issues on their NotePin?
I'm charging again, and my fingers are crossed this was a one-off occurrence.

Bonjour,
J'ai la chance d'avoir rempli mon PEA avec des ETFs (merci le wiki !) et il me reste de l'argent en titres vifs dans une assurance-vie prise l'année dernière via un gestionnaire de patrimoine. Ces titres ont bien marché et généré des bénéfices importants en un an. Si je sortais de l'AV aujourd'hui, j'aurais donc environ 9000 euros de taxes à payer.
Je n'aurais pas besoin de ces fonds pendant les 5 prochaines années a priori. Je pensais arrêter de jouer avec le feu et tout réinvestir en ETFs.
Comme je le comprends, j'ai 2 options :
- vendre les titres vifs et acheter des ETFs au sein de l'AV. La selection est limitée mais il y a le LU1681048804 (frais de gestions à 0,15%) et le LU1829221024 (frais de gestion à 0,22%) qui me semblait pas mal (?)
- tout sortir, payer la flat tax et acheter des ETFs dans un CTO (avec plus grande sélection d'ETFs)
Je serais ravi d'avoir vos conseils. De ce que j'ai compris, l'AV n'est pas une option conseillée pour les gens qui ne pensent pas à transmettre leurs biens. D'autre part, les gestionnaires de patrimoines ont apparemment mauvaise presse et ralentissent de toute façon le processus d'achat-vente. Il faudrait tout passer en CTO je suppose ? Merci d'avance
