I am currently working for the government and have been doing so for the past six months. However, during the application process, I made a mistake that I deeply regret. I misrepresented my employment history by claiming that I worked at a previous job for 3–4 months, when in reality, I was only there for 1–2 weeks.
The reason I left that role so quickly was due to an unfortunate incident where I was physically attacked by a colleague because of my religion. This incident left me with severe anxiety and depression, which significantly impacted my ability to work or secure a job for several months afterward.
At the time, I received poor advice and made the regrettable decision to fill this gap in my employment history by exaggerating my time at that job. I now realise this was wrong and completely take responsibility for my actions. I truly regret this decision, as it does not reflect who I am or my commitment to integrity.
I am currently at the end of my six-month probation, and my employer has requested evidence of my employment for that time period. I love this job and believe in the work I’m doing, and I don’t want my past mistake to overshadow my future.
Should I come forward with the truth? I’m prepared to explain my situation honestly and accept the consequences, but I would appreciate any guidance on how to approach this matter.

So I (18f) have been with my wonderful boyfriend (17m) for a little over 3 months. I’ve been telling him how lazy and rude my mom can be but he didn’t believe me until recently but I hate how he realized. I had met my mom and siblings at a public park with my boyfriend and 2 of my close friends because my friends and boyfriend like my family considering none of them have a stable family. My 8 year old brother was playing tag with my boyfriend and my brother decided to punch my boyfriend in the balls at least 3 times and run away and I went to comfort my bf since he was on the ground and shaking, very obviously in pain. I asked my friend to tell my mom what had happened since my mom was just sitting in her car but nothing happened beside my mom walking by my bf and saying “you’ll be fine, I’ve given birth 4 times” and I get that the pain my bf was in is absolutely not the worst but he’s still in the worst pain he’s felt thus far. I wish I could say that only happened once but it didn’t. My brother did the same thing again and my boyfriend was once again on the ground in pain and shaking from it. I ran across the playground to get to him and make sure my brother didn’t do anything. I yelled loud enough for my mom to hear me and said “Mom could you please tell brothers name to stop” and I got ignored. I said it again and got ignored again. I then said it more rudely and got ignored a 3rd time. The final time I yelled “Mom can you handle your child and make him stop hurting people because he will just keep doing the same thing and this is already the 2nd time he’s done this” and my mom looked up at me and said “Ok mom” and rolled her eyes. (She calls me ‘mom’ sarcastically when I ask her to handle something like that). My 8 year old brother then left the park and started running down the road and I yelled at her to get him and she just yelled back “Where would he go” as if nobody can just snatch the kid. My boyfriend got up and sat at the picnic table at the park and my mom came up to us and said “Next time he hits you just hit him back” and then left with my siblings. My boyfriend looked even more mad than before so I asked what was wrong and he said “The audacity your mom has to talk to you like that just because you didn’t want her other kid hurting me and then doing absolutely nothing about it” and then we dropped it.
This makes me angry because my mom NEVER disciplines my siblings and lets them do whatever. If I try to keep them in line or keep them safe she just yells that I’m not the mom and she’s right there so she can handle it but I don’t understand why I should just let my siblings run away and hurt people. This is just one instance but I have so many stories including my sister (age 6) leaving the house and me getting in trouble for going to get her or trying to prevent her from leaving the house in the first place. I love my mom but it’s so hard to keep defending her when she’s so lazy and hardly a parent.

2024.11.26 05:53 PatrickGSR94 N00b question: stretch/pull a whole section of a body?
Sorry folks I'm still very new to Fusion360. Been using Revit 20 years and this is extremely different. Say I have sketched a cube, with a square hole, that creates basically 4 walls. Maybe the edges have some fillets or chamfers, or other details. Now I want to move one or 2 of those "walls" in or out. The Press Pull tool seems to be mainly for individual edges and faces. How would I pull out a whole section of a model, like one of my 4 walls, and bring the fillets/chamfers along with it? There's got to be an easy way to do this, right?
In Revit, 3D objects are based on sketches. Modify the sketch and the object changes. I understand that "bodies" created from sketches in F360 seem to disassociate themselves from one another. Changing the sketch does not change the 3D body, at least not immediately. I'm sure I'm missing steps somewhere. I've tried searching for answers but I may be using the wrong terminology and haven't really seen helpful results.

Hi
I am very hairy lol. From what I've seen and heard from other people's experiences with laser hair removal, it doesn't remove all the hair. There are areas that never stop growing. I'm interested to know if there's anything stronger and more effective than laser?
On a related note. I have this weird issue with shaving that nothing seems to solve. Some areas on my body can never be cleanly shaved. I'm no longer able to touch the hair after shaving it, because I shaved it, but the roots are still very visible, like even from afar, like it looks like there's still hair on the area. I scrub before shaving, and I use new razors, I shave in the correct directions, I moisturizer (not regularly but as much and as frequently as I can). But I still see those annoying hairs. One area is on my feet, I've become very insecure about my feet dur to this tbh. Another area is my armpits, which also really sucks.
