Hey folks, I want to start by saying thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and respond to this.
I want to get into FM, but as the youngins say, I'm a noob in that realm. I currently work as a resident director on a college campus and will start my collateral soon by working with the college housing department which is intertwined with facilities management. 24 yrs old, graduated with a BBA in Sport Management and Minor in Athletic Coaching and my interest in FM has grown since I've been in the realm of residential life.
How should I approach getting into FM? Should I get an advanced degree (thinking about it, but I dislike school lol)? What youtube channels should I subscribe to and start learning from? What certifications should I look at? What basics should I start looking at?
Any advice helps greatly as I want to do the best I can.

A good number of youtube videos about chiropractic often shows this which confuse me because I thought chiropractic deals with bones, not nerves.
Furthermore, why do some chiropractors are also seen adjusting even the foot, legs, hands and arms even, not just back, shoulder and neck?
Why do I also see conflicting information about Chiropractic, with soo many people on reddit(and even Wikipedia) dismissing it as pseudoscience while others say its proven or something?

TL;DR Is there any sort of weird illness going around causing dogs to hack up mucus?
I was originally gonna post this to dogs but I couldn't submit it for some reason.
So a few days ago my dog kept hacking up mucus. I noticed it late at night, and since it didn't seem like an emergency, I decided to wait until morning to see if it would get any better. It was happening infrequently enough that it wasn't too concerning, especially considering it was his only symptom. He was acting perfectly normal aside from the hacking - peppy puppy energy, hungry, drinking, eating, pooing, etc. Plus, the hacking wasn't that violent. It seemed like what you might do if you had something caught in your throat, He'd bring up a bit of mucus and kind of cough it out, and that was it. But he did produce quite a of mucus. Actually, the first thing I noticed was a big pool of it in the basement. It wasn't vomiting and it wasn't coughing. It was kinda like he was clearing his throat. It seemed like it would happen when he'd get up after lying for a bit, or when someone came to the door and he'd start barking. But, like, I took him for an hour+ walk and he was completely normal.Since I wrote that post my parents' dog, who is 15 btw, has been to the emergency vet. They did a bevy of outrageously expensive tests, which came back negative for anything. She also saw her regular vet the next day. Neither one could find anything wrong, except that she had a fever. They gave her some painkillers and that was it. But the problem wasn't even pain. They didn't even suggest any sort of communicable illness. But it seems very coincidental to me that my dog would have this issue and then their dog (who lives with my dog) would have a similar issue one day later. But my parents' dog does not seem to be getting over it whatever it is. Her coughing seems much deeper and she seems to not be able to stand. We have to carry her out and hold her up in order for her to go pee.
Anyway, the next day it seemed to be getting better. He did it a couple times, maybe didn't bring anything up at all, so I decided to hold off on the vet. I figured maybe he ate something that cut or irritated his throat. Now he seems to be completely back to normal. However, my parents' dog, who lives with my dog, just did the same thing a few times. But then she did this weird howl thing, which she's never done. And now she's just laying there, very lethargic, and drooling.

I opened up my vaccum-sealed paint palette to find this beauty growing in it. I prefer to squeeze paint into these palettes instead of letting the paint dry out using traditional metal palettes. Obviously, the wet environment is perfect growth for this specimen but I want to figure out how to avoid it in the future. The paint in the picture is ARTEZA watercolor paint. I have 4 other watercolor palettes like this and nothing has happening to them other than the ocassional separation.

No es realmente una pregunta. Mi gato tiene ya 7 años y lo castraron a los meses de edad antes de tenerlo (tiene 2 hermanos más que viven con mis tíos) pero es el único que está "mal castrado"
Y... Es triste. Desde que está en casa se crío como gato de afuera (de tipo familia de campo, como mis abuelos. El gato siempre afuera igual que el perro), yo lo dejo entrar de vez en cuando y se queda con migo como ahora.
Pero siempre, siempre, coge mis sábanas. De toda la vida, el gato que teníamos antes no castrado hacia lo mismo. Pero con este la verdad es ya triste porque está castrado y no puede hacer nada pero se re calienta. Me da una lastima enorme ver qué no puede y se rinde a lamerse noma.
Es tanto descargo como para preguntar por qué puede ser esto. La verdad siempre mis gatos lo hicieron, solo en mi cama, y no se por qué.
