I have done all my aquarium and fish research. For context, I have a 5 gallon planted tank with 1 betta. I understand that to pair a few ghost shrimp to help with algae, it is very dependent on the temperament of the betta fish, and won’t always be the same for every fish. I went to the store today to get 2 ghost shrimp for my tank, the worker initially asked me how big my tank is and what type of fish were in there so I told her. She was saying she wouldn’t sell me the shrimp since they shouldn’t be going in with a betta and I explained that I researched the above. She kept saying no so then I said how ghost shrimp are technically feeder shrimp and I want it for the purpose of that for my betta. She could not refuse a sale for that reason but I only purchased one shrimp as she “couldn’t find more in the tank” and she was also quietly mumbling “it’s inhumane and sad” as she was looking for the shrimp. It’s very 2 weeks so far and my betta has left the shrimp alone and the shrimp has been helping w the algae. Am I wrong in thinking this was weird?

I swear I remember every detail of this fic. I know I even have this fic saved! It’s driving me crazy because I’ve forgotten the title of it, and I can’t seem to find it with tags. Either on FF.net or AO3.
- It begins after the end of book 4. Narcissa decides to send Draco and some of the other Slytherins away abroad for their safety, with the help of people like Amelia Bones and Tonks. It’s somewhere in northeastern Europe.
- While they’ve been sent off, Harry is at Grimmauld preparing for his trial, which he loses and is expelled. This is when I believe Tonks tells them about this safe place they’ve made for the Slytherins and Sirius and Harry go off.
- They turn this Muggle place into a magic school and hire professors, including Sirius. There’s a Dark Arts professor who ends up helping Harry to take the Horcrux out of his head. Astoria is also magically gifted and helps.
- Ron and Hermione send Harry letters about Umbridge and their life. Harry and Draco get together. I know Harry absorbs Voldemort’s power and knowledge so he takes his NEWT’s early and passes them all because he’s got all that knowledge stored up there now.

Maybe I’m stupid, but previously I had do not disturb set to have only my partner be able to call or text me with notifications (my friends are lovely but I am sick of over 200 messages that are just memes during my work day).
Lately, it seems like it’s not working at all, only calls are getting blocked, I set all of the apps to mute, but i still get notifications. Calls and texts are coming through as well and I’m super annoyed. I’ve tried resetting my phone, I’ve tried resetting it to defaults. Nothing is working.
On top of that it’s now blocking my partners calls and not anything else. I’m just so frustrated at this point. Any ideas?
