2024.11.26 07:00 WiseForensics Windows Artifact Viewer GUI
I recently made a post on here showcasing some digital forensics tools that I wrote in python. Out of all those tools, the only one I hadn't yet created into a GUI was Windows Artifact Viewer. Well, I finally got around to it, and I finally have an early version of it out that I'd like to share.
Windows Artifact Viewer is a simple program that will automatically search a local computer or mounted disk image for artifacts and then parse them for you. At the moment, it can parse a few file artifacts and internet artifacts, but I plan on adding more capabilities soon. The CLI version of this was able to parse the registry, but I removed that feature from the GUI since my other program, RegEasy, is able to parse the Windows registry very thoroughly. I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out so far. It's still in the early stages, so if you find any bugs, please DM them to me so I can fix them. You can check out the tool here:

I meant to post this hours ago but caught up with errands around the house. Now that I am here, the first thing I read is a post from today with the same intention: deleting X.
So, I deleted my favorite social media platform, Twitter, after fifteen years. It hurt. Back then, I always dreamed of having a lot of followers, retweeting my jokes, my thoughts, my insights, but it never occurred. I obviously kept using it because, as a writer, it’s so much fun to conceptualize one thought or trouble into 140 characters. It was a creative challenge. I loved it. My algorithm was so amazingly curated with the type of photos I wanted to see, the quotes I wanted to use as inspiration, the daily news I wanted to know, the people I wanted to read... all of that. It was great. I even remember those odd and uncomfortable times when you were happily scrolling and found a random girl liked by your pal earlier that day. In spite of that, we were happy. We had a space where we felt free.
But because of all that nostalgia, I was refusing to delete it. I don’t know what actually triggered me, but what I do know is that it became a toxic relationship - one that was one-way only. Do you agree? It was abusive, intrusive, and self-centered. With free p*rn, news I didn’t care to see, trends way too pretentious for me, and Musk’s constant craving for attention, I simply stopped feeling it as “my special digital place.”
Harsh, right?
If I’m not wrong, three days ago, I decided to delete it the same way you rip off a band-aid. Followed by redesigning my Threads profile, downloading Bluesky, and jumping to the new era. I’ve also found myself using Reddit so much more. I never used it until a couple of months ago, and these past three days I’ve been fully on it, joining groups, liking this or that.
Could Reddit be the one? Maybe. But it’s definitely never going to feel the same...

I'm an instacart shopper, and a few months back I made a post about the most ordered items in the store. I received a lot of "Well what about this" replies, so I figured I'd do it again but breaking it down by department.
Snacks Deli Beverages Dairy Produce Bakery Meat Traditional food items Cleaning products Pharmacy Miscellaneous (everything else) (Appiances, electronics, clothing, entertainment items and seasonal items almost never get ordered) I'll try and post a new list every few days.
First up - Bakery
- Croissants - these show up every second order. They just had a 2 week period where they were unavailable and people were so sad
- Traditional bread - mostly dempsters, with the rye bread right behind
- Keto wraps - these overpriced things are very popular
- Aussie Bites - usually have to pick these up.once a day at least. Not a fan myself
- Chocolate Lovers Cookies - of course
- Apple Turnovers - they'd be higher if the expiry dates were better
- Artisan baguettes - crazy around holidays
- The "school safe" chocolate banana cakes - don't get the appeal of these, but kids love tbem them
- Cheese Buns - also one of the most requested items to take a photo of before buying
- Tuxedo Cake - popular,but tends to be the go to when another item is out of stock (looking at you cheesecake)
- Gluten Free breads - kind of a mix of them all, but they're always ordered by the same customers
- Mini chocolatines - if they're available, which they aren't half the time. They get refunded a lot
If at Thanksgiving, you can put pumpkin pie at #1

I had an episode recently because my day was filled with unexpected change and I had used preworkout for a gym session that left me extremely overstimulated. During the episode, I couldn't speak to my partner and ended up scratching myself, hitting myself and locking myself in the bathroom for a couple of hours with a lot of paranoid thinking. We ended up leaving the house which helped after a while. But does anyone have advice for calming down during the situation? I felt quite embarrassed that he saw me like that. Luckily he is very supportive and understanding so there was no judgment from him. I just don't want to put him in that situation again, since it was distressing and lasted a few hours. Any ideas?

2024.11.26 07:00 Revolutionary-Ad1398 Did Moulin Rouge permanently damage Derek Klena's voice?
I love MR and was lucky enough to see it in person in NYC twice! I saw it last year with Derek Klena & Jojo and this year went again with a friend to see Courtney Reed & Derek again. I think Derek is a fantastic actor and when I saw him in the past, his voice was absolutely beautiful! However when I saw him again this time, his voice was noticeably tired and cracked audibly a couple of times. He was so professional and it was still a great show, but it was definitely noticeable that he couldn't sustain the notes he had previously, and sounded hoarse. I didn't think too much of it at the time but recently saw a clip from a recent show of his on Tiktok, and he sounded a little more quiet/was singing songs less "full out" if that makes sense. Obvs a couple clips don't tell the whole story but after stories about folks like Idina Menzel and others whose voices have never been the same after a difficult show, it made me worried that being in MR for this last run might have been one run too many (which is so sad because I love the show and Derek's take on Christian). Am I being dramatic/ reading too much into things, or can a score like that really damage voices long term? Has anyone else noticed this?
