2024.11.26 07:30 MuddyTreks AIO - Flipped out on my husband after driving him to work
Husband was supposed to wait until he was off on Thanksgiving break to work on his vehicle instead worked on it over the weekend which is fine except...... He was suppose to take his vehicle in to be aligned today as soon as he woke up but instead waited until after noon today to do so knowing full well he had to be at work at 3. Needless to say it didn't get done in time.
So I gathered all of his work clothes and stuff, packed him a lunch, and drove to the shop to pick him up and take him to work. (For context we are 15mins one way from work , the shop he took his vehicle to is the same distance and then probably an additional 5 to work so 20 mins. ) This wouldn't be an issue but it didn't stop there.
I take him to work. Start to head home and notice the vehicle is no longer in the bay being worked on so I stop as he told them I'd get the keys. Lo and behold they couldn't align it at all he didn't fix something he was suppose to over the weekend which made them not be able to perform the alignment. Grrr. Text him and let him know and then head home.
Trip 2 - pick him up from on his lunch break take him to shop to get his vehicle. This was planned I was ok with this the rest I'm not.
Trip 3. Instead of driving it back to work he proceeded to drive it home and so now I have to take him back to work and he starts complaining how he's going to be late . Again 15 mins one way , 5 mins from work to the shop , 30 min lunch = should have never taken it home to begin with
Trip 4 get to work he tells me his badge fell out of the jacket so I have to go back home again and get his badge . get home only to find it on the cup holder it didn't fall out he placed it there (this is where i become PO) pick it up take it back to work and give it to him during his last break
Trip 5 he's now off work so I have to pick him up.
Needless to say I flipped the f out on him afterwards. For context, today was the first day of my vacation from the same place he works at . Instead of getting to enjoy it I had to drive to spend 2 1/2 hours driving to work and back 5 times. I flipped out on him. I told him how it felt like he intentionally did all of this as it never fails every time I'm off work and he's not there my keys randomly come up missing , or my money, and then today i have to spend my entire day doing this shit. How I completely understood what was happening UNTIL the badge being placed in the cup holder. I told him how I'm so fn sick of him controlling me, how i'm allowed to have a day off without him and do things I want to do, how im done always having to be the one cleaning up the messes he creates because he half asses everything and instead of taking care of it right away or doing it right the first time he cuts as many corners as he can and then we have to do it again and spend more money when it could have been a one and done thing. How i'm done and didn't sign up to be his mommy he's a 40+ yr old adult and needs to grow the f up and start acting like it instead of being lazy af. How he should have quit driving it and gotten it fixed the first time it had a problem instead of continuing to drive it (we've spent almost a thousand in parts already and are now going to have to spend another $400+) and how he should have never have taken it in that late and there was literally no reason to take it back home when he 5mins from work and because of this he ruined my day off and I should have just worked if I was going to have to drive there 5x anyway . I get it stuff happens but did I overreact ?

I have a question for Ork players:
I’m looking to field two (or even three) Mek Gunz units, along with a Big Mek with a Shokk Attack Gun and a regular Mek. My plan is to put them into Strategic Reserve and, from the second turn onwards, have them enter the battlefield to target a dangerous enemy unit. I want to combine the Dread Mob Detachment's Try That Button upgrade with the Bigger Shells for Bigger Gitz and Dakka Dakka Dakka! stratagems for maximum effect.
Here’s the setup I’m considering:
- One Mek Gunz unit will be joined by the Big Mek with the Shokk Attack Gun.
- The regular Mek can either join another Mek Gunz unit or come out of reserve separately.
- +1 to hit (from the Mek).
- Reroll to hit (via stratagem).
- Sustained Hits, Lethal Hits, or +2 AP on critical wounds (from Try That Button).
- +1 to wound and +1 damage (via stratagem).
- The Traktor Kannon seems underwhelming, and the Kustom Mega-Kannon lacks AP, so I think it comes down to the Bubblechukka or Smasha Gun.
- Should I go all-in with Bubblechukkas, all Smasha Guns, or mix them so I can focus my stratagems on whichever unit fits the situation?

So I (22F) very soon am having a birthday dinner and clubbing scenario. I have been debating what to do for my birthday with friends for weeks. I originally had ideas that I really wanted to do but ended up altering the plans because many of my friends won’t be able to afford it due to being in college or not having a job. And to me that’s fine bc I would rather be with them than anyone else anyways . So I spent a whole week to plan something they could afford, made a flyer, and invited all my friends in the GC. And the first response was like this emoji “😬” and then the second was “I can’t go” I also reiterated to them that it would be a cheap restaurant and a free entry club but still no budge. I asked to at least see them for maybe the dinner part and no budge. Also should mention that I have planned almost every social outing my friends and I do and paid for things I was never paid back for and never asked to be paid back for bc i love them and also planned their birthdays and surprises too. But they tend to react so harshly to me and so frequently and this is so confusing to me because I know that they are true friends and love me but why are they treating me like shit? Maybe I am stupid and they are not true friends but my brain can’t even compute that they aren’t amazing people. it’s just things like this that I am noticing is so frustrating because I have never enjoyed a birthday before and it’s like they don’t care but i always care about them :(. Ugh idek how to move forward like I wish I could get a clear answer on if they actually care about me or not or maybe they don’t like me? this is making me wanna self reflect like crazy because maybe it’s me and they don’t wanna say anything? if it is i’d wish someone just tell me straight up so i can fix it or move on. ugh okay rant over.

2024.11.26 07:30 Historical-Rip-6368 MKR Team Analysis Part 2
Mike & Pete-The other villain team, Mike talks a big game and likes to describe all of other teams meals as easy. Mike also likes to stir drama especially when it comes to calling out Simone's 'experience' at the Kitchen and he thought that Lawrence was not genuine when talking about his mother. When it was their turn to cook they were anything but a front runners, the food was average at best and the restaurant was more of cliche Italian restaurant cratered to tourists. Luckily for Mike his friend Pete managed to prove he is the King of Cannoli's (which scored a 10 from the judges). After that Mike 2.0 was born but old habits die hard and their redemption night wasn't any improvement because Mike was all over the place at the Kitchen. Then Kitchen HQ team finally they stepped it up and cooked up wow dishes. Until they got ahead of themselves and were almost eliminated. At the ultimate instant restaurant round Mike was still a stirrer but in general they got on with the teams much better then they did the first instant restaurant round. They did try to show more versatility with mixed results and at the Semi-Finals facing their foes Simone & Viviana the judges were disappointed at the performances. Mike was more focus on trash talking to Simone & Viviana and not concentrating on what he's doing. Ultimately Simone & Viviana's dessert got Mike & Pete eliminated and while they were not likeable at the start I've slowly but surely come to appreciate what they had to offer.
Janey & Maddie-One of the Villain teams, when they showed up their was no shortage of confidence especially from Janey. She had no filter and would offend the teams very easily despite the fact most of the teams took what she says with a grains of salt (Expect Lawrence off course). At there Instant Restaurant they promised fine dining but the food was style over substance and didn't take critics very well. Janey still had arguments with Lawrence to point it became tedious and painful to watch. At Kitchen HQ Janey was a hot mess and Maddie her daughter had to pick up the pieces, yes they survived by not going to the elimination rounds but they didn't really thrived in fact the other teams don't really respect them as cooks. The the Ultimate Instant Restaurant Round Janey continues to put her foot in her mouth especially at Rob & Liam's night and Maddie as her daughter will defend her despite Janey being in the wrong. At their night it was mixed but have done enough to be tied second with Mike & Pete. Then the banquet challenge they started of strong but fell to pieces with the Dessert and Janey once again when critiquing can dish it out but can't take it. But at the Semi Finals it was their best performance especially from Maddie with those souffle's and was a close match with Caz & Fergus. It was too little too late but it was for the first time that I truly respected them as cooks and it was nice that they went out with a bang.
Rob & Liam-The first team to cook, and they showed massive skills and potential (even at desserts which they said was not their strength) and where on top of the leader board. Rob the older brother was confident yet easy going and Liam the younger brother was competitive but not as confident. At Kitchen HQ is were they really shine, they dominated the challenges to point were they become judges themselves (Which they were very fair with how they judge). They were the team to look out for. But unfortunately as the saying goes the higher you climb the further you fall. At the ultimate instant restaurant round they fell to pieces and made mistakes (Serving raw chicken and making churros in a swirl). Liam clashed with Janey when she critique their tacos at the most inappropriate time and with her score to them, Which is understandable but they didn't help themselves by being too extra with how they critic Caz & Fergus night. They behaved better after that but Liam did show his true colours again at Janey & Maddie's night when he clashed with Fergus & forcing people to be more critical with the dessert scoring to the point when Rob had to tell him to Calm Down. Eventually they were eliminated for having the lowest score in the round, but not only that they went from fan favourite to everyone turning on them so much that Channel 7 had to issue a statement following the Backlash.
