Something I’ve noticed the past couple months is that there has been a lot of people using fake pictures for their profiles.
I matched with a guy a month ago on tinder who I started a conversation with, things were going well and he even gave me his alternate social media. Something gave me a weird feeling so I decided to reverse image search one of his pictures and what do you know; fake profile, he’s using the photos of some random model off of instagram.
This has happened three more times since, I matched with a guy, they look almost too good to be true so I reverse image search their accounts and it’s a catfish. The last one (today) I actually asked why they use fake pictures and sent him the instagram handle of the person he’s impersonating and he blocked me.
If you do it, no judgement — but why? What do you get from it?

Dealing with buyers who ghost you on Facebook Marketplace ghosting Reddit threads seems to be a common frustration, and I’m experiencing it firsthand. I had someone interested in buying a table who was supposed to come by today to check it out and buy, but when I messaged them to confirm, they read the message and didn’t respond. It’s so frustrating when people don’t have the courtesy to let you know they’re not coming or are no longer interested—at least give a heads-up so I’m not left wasting my time waiting around for nothing!

Hi playstation community, I am new to playstation and gaming itself. I just bought a PS5 and asked my friend who has a PS4 to borrow his account so that I could play the games he owns. I see an option to upgrade his PS4 copy of LOU2 to LOU2 Remastered from ₹500 which is playable only on the PS5. Will he be able to play it on his PS4 if I upgrade it? I have never used a Playstation and I am very confused with these different versions of games.

Apám a nárcisztikusok mintapéldánya, de sokszor adtam neki esélyt, megbocsájtottam, újra megbàntott. Nem a válással, hanem azzal, ahogyan a családdal bánt. Sokszor volt jó fej apa, sokat tanulhattunk tőle, foglalkozott is velünk. Ugyanakkor érzelmileg nulla. Karácsonykor a közös fadíszítéskor köpte be, hogy ő el akar válni és elköltözik. A család , nagyszülők előtt játszottuk a boldog családot, otthon meg ment a kínos csend, a düh, az értetlenség, stb. Tönkretette a karácsonyt, a 30.születésnapomat (az is akkor volt).ennek lassan 3 ève. Idén kezdtem el vele újból szóba állni, több esélyt adni neki. Most megint karácsony előtt közölte hogy el akarja adni a házat, anyám költözzön ki februárban. Hintázok aközött, hogy “de mégiscsak az apám”, de ezekkel a húzásaival szívem szerint sosem állnék szóba vele. Nyílván a 32 évem alatt nem csak ez a pár dolog volt, amivel megbàntott, sokszor beszélt csúnyán velem, sosem a gyerekei voltak neki a legfontosabbak, hanem inkább saját maga. 2024.11.26 07:30 psychospacecow Revising Starcraft 1 campaign. Advice appreciated

So, in a bit of a swing of nostalgia, I've been playing Starcraft 1. I'm under no illusion that I'd stand up in multi-player or that the old tower defenses are super active, but I have fond memories of the campaign. Or rather, I have fond memories of cheating through it because I was 7.
I beat the Terran campaign fairly easily, but I'm stuck on map 3 for Zerg, the one where the chrysalis is first getting big on Char.
Any advice for this and future campaigns? I just know I'm gonna have a rough time of it when I get to Brood War should I manage to beat the base game.

I have CPTSD and I've learned to provoke situations to understand limits. This explains why I disrespected his wishes to some extent. I'd have screaming fights growing up often enough I think it impacted my hearing capabilities. Since I got used to it, I was afraid that's what would happen with my dad because he didn't always respect my boundaries if you guys want more clarification on that feel free to ask. I can't really remember the context meaning I forgot how my dad expressed it but it was clear he prefers authenticity and not what robots/the internet have to say. This is understandable I'm 70% sure I acknowledged his preference but then stated this is what I'm comfortable with. So I'm afraid of conflict because I'm used to it not being resolved I thought that ChatGPT would help me resolve things but it didn't since I wanted him to validate me or at least not invalidate me and he wasn't up for it I got more frustrated and it all led to an in-person fight. I still use ChatGPT to communicate with him. The fight was so bad that he left me a note saying I'm dead to him and now I'm living with foster parents. I probably could've lived with my dad after the fight. My Grandpa who let my dad live with him insisted if I agreed to go to church and changed how I dress I could continue living with them. FYI I am semi modest the shortest shorts I have go down to my knees I think my Grandpa wanted me to dress more feminine because I am ftm and he knows I think he may of forgot since I told him years ago. Anyways back on topic recently I messaged my moms cousin to ask my dad to give me my social security and social security card because he closed my bank account and has around 200$ of mine. I need my social security card to get an ID to figure out my bank account number to receive my monthly security checks. I'm figuring it out with my foster parents. He seemly ignored my moms cousins request for my ssc and said hes not giving me my money until I'm 18. He also told my moms cousin that he'd like to hear from me I know he means over the phone or in person since he gets angry when I write him letters and messages I'm assuming its because he feels ambushed. He has me blocked on messenger I could figure out his phone # tho. I don't have a phone # that works well I use a wifi only number and often the sound cuts out. I messaged him on messenger with an alt account saying I know he wants to hear from me and I want to choose a mediator if/when we talk to keep the convo focused on respect. I also was like sorry if this message causes any hurt because ChatGPT said it might. I'd ambush him in person or on the phone depending on the situation tbh thats why I'm planning to have a mediator. I'm planning to talk with a therapist before deciding what I'm going to talk about if he gets back to me and wants to chat. And possibly ChatGPT. FYI I lack empathy so thats another reason I use chatGPT bcuz I don't want to hurt anyone unintentionally.
