Something I’ve noticed the past couple months is that there has been a lot of people using fake pictures for their profiles.
I matched with a guy a month ago on tinder who I started a conversation with, things were going well and he even gave me his alternate social media. Something gave me a weird feeling so I decided to reverse image search one of his pictures and what do you know; fake profile, he’s using the photos of some random model off of instagram.
This has happened three more times since, I matched with a guy, they look almost too good to be true so I reverse image search their accounts and it’s a catfish. The last one (today) I actually asked why they use fake pictures and sent him the instagram handle of the person he’s impersonating and he blocked me.
If you do it, no judgement — but why? What do you get from it?

Dealing with buyers who ghost you on Facebook Marketplace ghosting Reddit threads seems to be a common frustration, and I’m experiencing it firsthand. I had someone interested in buying a table who was supposed to come by today to check it out and buy, but when I messaged them to confirm, they read the message and didn’t respond. It’s so frustrating when people don’t have the courtesy to let you know they’re not coming or are no longer interested—at least give a heads-up so I’m not left wasting my time waiting around for nothing!

Sziasztok! Fogalmam sincs hogy kezdjek bele. Kiírok mindent magamból, aztán lesz ami lesz belőle. Anyàm meg apám válik, már pár éve (igazából korábban már egyszer elváltak, majd ujrahazasodtak). Apám a nárcisztikusok mintapéldánya, de sokszor adtam neki esélyt, megbocsájtottam, újra megbàntott. Nem a válással, hanem azzal, ahogyan a családdal bánt. Sokszor volt jó fej apa, sokat tanulhattunk tőle, foglalkozott is velünk. Ugyanakkor érzelmileg nulla. Karácsonykor a közös fadíszítéskor köpte be, hogy ő el akar válni és elköltözik. A család , nagyszülők előtt játszottuk a boldog családot, otthon meg ment a kínos csend, a düh, az értetlenség, stb. Tönkretette a karácsonyt, a 30.születésnapomat (az is akkor volt).ennek lassan 3 ève. Idén kezdtem el vele újból szóba állni, több esélyt adni neki. Most megint karácsony előtt közölte hogy el akarja adni a házat, anyám költözzön ki februárban. Hintázok aközött, hogy “de mégiscsak az apám”, de ezekkel a húzásaival szívem szerint sosem állnék szóba vele. Nyílván a 32 évem alatt nem csak ez a pár dolog volt, amivel megbàntott, sokszor beszélt csúnyán velem, sosem a gyerekei voltak neki a legfontosabbak, hanem inkább saját maga. Nem tudom mit varok itt, talán véleményeket, tapasztalatokat. Köszönöm😊
