Problem/goal: if i should keep it or not?
Context: Hello, I'm 18 and i found out i am pregnant few weeks ago. I am 9 weeks now. I am writing bcs i need some advice regarding this if i should keep the baby or not. The father of my child suggested that i should have abortion bcs I'm still young he's in 20s btw. He's stable and i can tell he can provide. I am worried now bcs i am ashamed that if i keep the baby i will be burden to him and to his family since i am living with them and they knew abt my pregnancy. His family advised that i should keep the baby bcs it's a gift from God and it is a blessing. Which he is telling me the opposite side of it to abort it since he said he's concerned abt me bcs i still need to go to college and pursue my dreams. He also told me that he's not yet ready now to be a dad and he is scared bcs i am not financially stable now and he will be the one who will pay for everything. Also he opened up abt traveling together if we didn't push through this bcs he said he still wants to travel with me and he wants me to establish myself first before building a family bcs he said it will be hard for us to do what we want, to travel, and explore things together if we already have this responsibility. I get his point and some part of me thinking that i should abort it but I'm 50/50. Since i know it's a sin, and I'm also thinking abt my future and concerned abt what he said that he will be the one who will carry us and I'm scared bcs i know i couldn't provide for now to help him. So idk now what to do. If anyone could give me advice or stories how they managed to be successful with teenage pregnancy pls do comment and i wanna read. Thank u!

I'm in recovery on my own (it's hard to get a therapist or a doctor where i live) for less than a month, and in the last week or so, i gave myself premission to eat when I'm hungry/craving something (still somehow restricting tho) and I had 2 or 3 days of what i probably could call extreme hunger, but it wasn't as extreme as some people's. I weighed myself and I gained 4 kgs since i started recovering and I'm not sure if it's possible for it to be actual fat gain or just water weight/bloating/whatever? I know I shouldn't weight myself early in the recovery, but i couldn't help myself and it made me really anxious and I have a strong urge to relapse now.

 | Ok so, first she says that one of the problems he had was that she wasn’t obsessed with him anymore. That she didn’t have time to be obsessed with him, and that bothered him. I dont really see this happening. Then she says she never yelled or “popped off” with him. She gets riled up at the drop of a hat during that reunion, even with other people’s stories. So, i dont believe this either. Part of the reason why I dont believe it is… In Iceland she said that ridiculous phrase in regard to being soft with him. Never fighting. If all he knew of her was a chill, easy going person who enjoys having a nice time, and is high energy but joyful with him. Then seeing her in the states, clearly not being that, but instead being herself, then that would explain why he thought she was a completely different person. That is when I agree with his friend. That she wasn’t honest about who she is from the beginning, so Ingi felt tricked or deceived. Had an awful time in the US, and decided this relationship wasn’t for him. We obviously don’t know every detail because Ingi doesn’t want to take a trip down memory lane, and Corona is not going to be accountable or honest. So, we will never really know details. As for her family coming in… Im not even gonna address her mom’s comments. But, when they said and Corona agreed that Ingi didn’t try to contact her family or get to know them. Im sorry but her mother wasn’t exactly inviting. But the big thing here is, culture does play a role. Ingi for example wouldn’t expect Corona to reach out to his mom and become best buds. So, to him doing that or forming a friendship on his own with her family, makes no sense in the cultural context. He wouldn’t do that on his own because it is not how Nordic people are with family. If she wanted to achieve closeness between him and her family, then she needed to help that relationship grow by doing more things with the family. Showing him what families are like in the US. This isn’t to say that Nordic people aren’t close with their families, they are. But it is not that common for them to get close to their partner’s family on their own. And one last thing, it is definitely not normal to reach Ingi’s age without having experienced a serious relationship before. That means that as a person he might need more patience on things that should be obvious. I don’t know why he didn’t have other relationships, but clearly he struggles in that area. She knew this, and if she went into it knowing that he had 0 experience prior to her, then she shouldn’t have expected typical behaviors, gestures, actions.
