For reference: I’m on iPhone and use the app but I’ve never tried it on desktop.
What I did since the bot no longer appears in my chats: - manually search for the charactebot (hopefully you remember at least by the pfo, creator, or bio) - even if it has the character not available thing, go to history as you usually would.

2024.11.26 09:21 Due-Database-8185 Procedurally modifying textures

Hi, I'm lookong for a way to procedurally import a texture PNG and apply a shadechange to it before handing it on to other resources. Specifically, this is to overcome the limitation of shaders having to be applied to an entire tilemap rather than individual tiles.
I currently have two copies of a tile sheet PNG, one in colour and one in greyscale, that I import into a tileset via CanvasTextures. This is great I can hot swap the texture PNG via code as needed to load different tile sets, but having to manage/build a seperate greyscale image for each tile sprite sheet PNG manually is not ideal, as I already have to maintain normal maps and speculars for each tile set. My tiles overlap, so I cannot stack multiple tilemaps on top of each other with different shaders. And the changes only need to be static, not dynamic (e.g. a palette swap).
For simplicity and scalability, I would like to import a base PNG and modify it via code (shader?) before handover to the Tileset. I had hoped there would be a way to adjust the texture in the CanvasTexture, but this is sadly not the case.
Any ideas?

So I've been getting caught up on my one piece since I've been slacking and I'm currently on the whole cake island arc.
If you've seen "The Princess Bride" you'll have known the quote when you first hear it. Side note: i am assuming it could very well just be the dubbed version, as the subbed translates it to "Bye, Good Luck" on Crunchyroll. I don't really know if this was a planned Easter egg or not but either way it was amazing to hear that quote again 🤣

Hi, sorry if this isn’t allowed I wasn’t sure where to post, I’ve just started Nightbringer as an audiobook, it’s the first 40k book I’ve started. I was just wondering about some of the stories in it? Granted I am only on chapter 3, but the first one which was about a guy called Gedric(?) who when i looked him up I could find no info on. Uriel is then eventually in it but then again the scene swaps to a planet which is in revolt, which was fine but again I wasn’t really sure what was going on but it has more substance than the Gedric storyline.
I was just wondering what bearing these have on the story? I’m presuming the revolt will have more relevance but the Gedric bit doesn’t seem to have any bearing on the story at all? Have I missed something or is there prior knowledge I need? Again I could have missed something as I am kind of struggling with audiobooks as when I normally read I tend to go over what I have read more than once.
Sorry if this seems stupid or I have completely overlooked something, I’m just really enjoying how the world is written and want to understand more. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, I applied for the defence Forces everything done medical, interview all cleared have been waiting for almost 3 months now to have the security clearance done ( Garda vetting done almost 3 months ago). I served in a foreign military (non Eu) as a compulsory service. I don’t think military authorities of that country will cooperate with the defence forces for security clearance. I declared my military service through out my application. I was so sure that I will be inducted in defence forces that I didn’t even ask my employer to renew my contract (Which ends this January) so now I am just disappointed in myself that I just went for one option and killed all other options (as defence forces was the job I loved). So in January I will be Jobless and practically in midst of crisis. Called several times on army recruitment number, they have no update. So at this point its fair enough to believe that I wont be getting the defence forces role. Any suggestions? I am trying to apply for further jobs in the meanwhile but no success. As the major bulk of job advertisements have been closed and when there were many jobs I didn’t apply due to above mentioned reasons. Thanks for reading such a long post.
