I have not only IBS D but also insulin resistance basically a form of diabetes PLUS PCOS.
Docs tell me to eat more fiber.
Fiber = carbs
I do that my blood sugar spikes and NO IT DOESN'T MATTER IF ITS SO QUOTE NATURAL SUGAR...an apple/banana/orange/ whatever fruit goes just as high as a candy bar.
Oatmeal, bread, rice, pastas yeah that's definitely a no go
I don't eat out except maybe once a month.
I HAVE to eat keto unless ya want me to go on insulin. It's how I have kept my a1c at 5.7 which is awesome.
But I still suffer in silence. At 3am I had a blow out, my stomach is so nauseous, I can't sleep and I have to work! I work from home thankfully.
It's gotten to the point where I hardly freaking eat! Like once a day maybe cheese or meat. No I don't go hog wild.
Obviously you can't live off Pepto and Imodium but at 38 yrs old how do you expect me to keep working, keep going, not to mention my other medical crap.
At this point honestly with the whole list of other medical problems I got...I'm thinking of disability but can't stop working because I can become homeless

I´ll preface it by saying I think it has worked for me. I am happier than ever and much more relaxed. I started it 12 months ago and I regret not doing it sooner. I had a rough adjustment period when I started but it was worth it.
However, I have some side effects such as not feeling anything and being very ambivalent about things that useds to excite me.
I tried weaning off 20mg (I have only ever taken 20mg) by quartering the pill and tried 15mg for a couple of weeks but got really bad sweats and felt more anxious to the point I decided to go back to 20mg.
Now, it is winter. I am busy. I work a lot but I am happy. I want to wean off what I have and start a new med that limits the side effects I have from parox.
I will take any recommendations at all for how to go about this as well as which meds I should ask my doc about to have all the wonderful parts of parox without side effects!

Hey everyone,
I feel like I'm way late to the party and am loosing my mind thinking about this and wanted to see if anybody knows of any studies showing that password expiry/rotation is a bad thing or if its just if its a certain frequency or something similar.
I'm not against change and always support anything I can apply evidence to but want to read more into it before implementing it, but my logic at the moment is that if I remove password expiry my users will still just use the same old passwords that they want, and not the longer stronger passwords that the theory suggests and they now exist for longer and they will be more encouraged to stick to just one password for everything making reuse across accounts a problem.
What studies are out there that you think really demonstrate the benefit of removing password expiry from an organisation?

So I’ve only shopped on Everlane a few times but I realized the quality of items really vary. I bought their essential tees and wasn’t a fan. They looked fine for the first few wears and then it just looked droopy. However I got their linen short sleeve shirt on a whim and the quality feels good, even better than a Uniqlo linen shirt.

 | Hello All, I recently got this little one, and it came overnight delivery. It was cold that night but when I received him, he was okay. After putting into a pot and placing in my bathroom (indirect sunlight, decent humidity) I noticed a slight curling. I assumed my bathroom got too cold at night, and so moved him to the top floor of the house where it's warmer. But he just keeps wilting and is now yellowing. Can I save him?
