I DM a module that's going to have its final session next week. One of my players has volunteered to run a mini-campaign for the same characters while I prep the next module. I told him I wasn't sure what I was going to make and he suggested something to do with Bane and making me a secret evil since he was planning to do something with the Dead Three, and I am all about this idea. My table is very mature and has been playing together for years so this won't be an issue upon its reveal either.
The thing is I don't super want to step on the toes of my (quite large) party by making something that plays too similarly. We have an Ancestral Barbarian, a homebrew Paladin, a homebrew Bard, a Kensei Monk, an Aberrant Sorcerer, a Clockwork Sorcerer, a Grave Cleric, a Life Cleric, and an Arcane Trickster Rogue (the new DM).
I'm open to any and all suggestions for what would fit a secret Banite. I'm not married to anything. Conquest Paladin is obvious, but I've played one before and my players are very astute and will probably put the pieces together once other Dead Three villains start appearing. Thank you!
