I've always rooted for Apple as I'd love nothing more than to see American industry excell, especially in the electronics space. I used to be all Appled out with iPhone, iPad, and a custom ordered MacBook pro in 2013 that would still be on par with most of today's computers. I went to engineering school though and learned apple was more of a marketing company than a tech company. I found out I could get brand new tech in a Samsung rather than 4 year old Samsung and Sony parts wrapped in a shiny case with an apple on it. Since then I've been using Samsung but have been waiting on the right product to take me back into the apple ecosystem.( All this time I have a MAX iPhone work phone so dont come at me like im clueless)
Then I see the m4 chip. All the advertisements make it look groundbreaking. I had heard the m1 and m2 were making it so apple was competitive so this new m4 ipad pro looked like a BEAST. Samsung ditched their lidar scanners so apple really had a product that looked perfect for me.
I dropped $2k on it and it seemed great. Beautiful display and the apple pencil is really good and maybe gives the S pen a run for the money. It was all fun and games until you try to split screen. The thing can't load a YouTube video and look at the appstore at the same time without beachballing forever. I mean CANNOT do two things at once. This is extremely disappointing. I know its not really fair to compare to the S23 Ultra but my Dad's free android they give you with your phone plan can run two apps better than this $2k shiny box. Split screen is an essential part of my workflow so this is a dealbreaker
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know because I don't think I can return it. I've tried resetting, closing all open app, clearing cache, all that good stuff. Everyone in my industry asks me how I keep track of and process so much information in the field and I never really answer but the real reason is : split screen (and hard work)

Ma reggel jött, hogy a Digi megint kavar a csatornákkal. Nem tudom minek, soha sem jön új csatorna, csak megint semmi sem ott van ahol eddig. Újrahangoltam, mert 306-oson is volt valami, gondoltam hátha rendbe rakja a csatona kiosztást. Hát nem lett jobb, gyakran akár 5 számot is átugrik, nem értem miért.

2024.11.26 11:59 Beginning-Meeting501 [PC][2019-2021] indie roguelike game with a robot and resource management elements.
Platform(s): PC
Genre: Rougelike/rpg
Estimated year of release: 2019-2021
Graphics/art style: 3D but with a hint of 2d
Notable characters: we are a robot sent to setup camp in an unknown place.
Notable gameplay mechanics: after the robot dies a new one is sent and we take control of the new robot. we have to manage electricity. we have to set up generators mines and lights. if we venture too far from lights, the screen starts to shake a ringing noise starts to play and we start to see eyes. while we are away from lights we also get attacked by some monsters. the game has crafting elements too. the main overarching story is that our memory is transferred to each robot and that the company that sent us here cant be trusted.
Other details: I'm pretty sure the game dev for this appears in a video. the type of video being "game devs make a game without communicating", "game devs make the best game for (insert hefty sum of money)". my memory is fuzzy but im pretty sure skulls make up the artstyle as well.

I was born 2005 so around that time period, I have had it since young however lost it a while back.the hooves had bean like bits inside however the body was soft stuffed, from my memory the etes and nose are sewn not buttons. So I have a BMO CC with a $2500 limit. I’ve never missed a payment and always pay what it says to pay. Question I’ve been having since the “customer service” on the phone was no help whatsoever. This month I’ve used $400 of the $2500 limit. I go to hit the pay option and it auto fills out $400 for me, but just below it, it says “Pay Balance Due $600”. An email I have also says pay the $600. Problem is, I’ve had this same problem last month in October. I used $500 of the $2500 limit and when I went to pay it, it auto filled out $500 for me but below it, there was the option saying “Pay Balance Due $630”. According to my email I got last month, it said I need to pay the $630. So last month I paid the $630 from my chequing. Then after the payment was finalized I got an email saying I overpaid by $130 and it even showed up on my Cc statement I overpaid. Even on my most recent statement it doesn’t say I’ve gained any interest charges. So why is it I’m getting an email saying I need to pay more than what I’ve actually used, and when I pay the higher amount, then I’m told I overpaid? Going to a BMO in person isn’t viable at the moment since our local one shut down. Customer service over the phone is no help. I’m not sure what to make of this situation.

Tudom, ez legyen életem legnagyobb problémája. Az utcánkban hétfőnként felállítanak egy standot, ahol lehet sajtot és kolbászt venni helyi termelőtől ( gondolom az utcától bérli a helyét). Vásároltam náluk, kérdeztem hogy a kolbászhoz adtak-e valami nitrites pácsó borzalmat, erre az eladó rávágta hogy ez házi, ebben semmi ilyesmi nincs.
Meg is vettem az árut, de utána kezdtem el gondolkodni, hogy neki kötelező a jog szerint az igazat mondani? Vagy hogy derülhetne ki, hogy hazudott?
