 | I started the game when it originally released and played consistently the first year. Shortly after the first anniversary I had to take a break for a few months due to phone issues. When I came back I played consistently again for a few years until about a year and a half ago. I've been sporadically coming back on since then. It's crazy to think it's been going this long. I know we have the offline app coming and I've already preordered it but it's just kinda hitting me that over the last 7 years this game was a semi-permanent thing that helped me pass boredom and be a bit creative. Very thankful for it. If anyone wants to add me to send each other gifts for the final two days please feel free. Move in date December end / negotiable
Facilities for both rooms : 1) bills included 2) cinema room + study pods 3)gym at first floor 4) five minutes walk to harbour and china town station 5) 10 mins walk to usyd and 5 mins walk to central station / bus stop at railway square 6) 24/7 security for the accommodation
Room 1 : Twin share studio large Rent : 519 dollars
(Currently 549 at website if you book directly ) The new contract makes study pods and amenities as paid as 3000 dollars if you break the lease. Hence , 3000 break lease fee + bond if you break the lease However since this is a lease signed before any such clause you can break the lease without the 3000 fine. And all amenities are free as stated. Washroom and kitchen will be shared between two students within the room.
Room2: Twin room in 8 sharing : Rent : 509 Twin room with washroom sharing between two students and kitchen with rest of the apartment.
The contract conditions same as for room 1 , study pods and facilities remain free and no 3000 break lease fee.

Servus ihr lieben,
Ich habe vor 3 Jahren meine Ausbildung abgeschlossen und habe seit dem bei zwei weiteren AG in der IT gearbeitet.
Letzter AG war eine kleine Bude die viel Leistung gefordert hat, mich aber sehr gut bezahlt hat, kurz vor Ende der Probezeit, dann das Aus, aufgrund finanzieller Probleme, bedingt durch Corona. Hat mich damals ziemlich fertig gemacht.
Zwei Monate niedergeschlagen verbracht und dann einen ähnlich gut bezahlten nahezu Full Remote Job bei einem großen, sicheren Familien-Unternehmen bekommen, wo ich derzeit fast 1 Jahr beschäftigt bin. Die arbeit ist sehr entspannt, nettes Team und gut bezahlt. Allerdings gehen mein Chef + IT-Partner aus dem Team nächstes Jahr in den Ruhestand, Remote arbeit soll bis zu 50% gekürzt werden und in das neue Office soll umgezogen und dann auch vor Ort gearbeitet werden. Die Arbeit empfinde ich leider als sehr langweilig (Windows-Admin) und auch die Änderungen im nächsten Jahr (neues Büro, neue Regelungen zum Home Office, neuer Chef) machen mir Bedenken zumal der Head of IT auch ein richtiger Dödel ist von dem so Aussagen kommen wie „ein System muss laufen und nicht sicher sein“.
Nun habe ich Angebot für eine kleine, unsicherere Firma bekommen, ähnlich gut bezahlt, Voll-Remote, Benefits etwas schlechter (Ticket, Zusatzzahlungen) aber ein Thema was mit deutlich mehr interessiert. Das unternehmen besteht erst seit 4 Jahren und dieses Jahr kratzen sie wohl zuerst an 500K Umsatz, ich bin also ein riesiges Invest für die kleine Firma aber man versteht sich sehr gut und beide Seiten wollen es schaffen.
Im Endeffekt stehe ich also vor der Entscheidung Leidenschaft vs Sicherheit zuzüglich ein paar fehlender Benefits..
Diese Entscheidung treibt mich sehr um und für Freitag habe ich ein Gespräch mit meinem jetzigen Chef angesetzt und wollte der neuen Firma spätestens bis Freitag auch Bescheid sagen wie ich mich entschieden habe.
Ich habe Verpflichtungen von ca. 2200€ im Monat mit Miete, Strom, Wasser und Lebenserhaltung ohne jeglichen Luxus.
Wie würdet ihr euch entscheiden?

I'm planning on visiting NZ in a week, and I realised that I might need to drive while I'm there. I have a Dutch drivers licence and I'm not sure if I need to get an international drivers permit, since there is almost no text on the permit that requires translation! If you know anything about IDPs and drivers requirements please help. Any Dutchies that recently travelled to NZ what was your experience?

2024.11.26 09:21 Erratic_Error I feel my diploma is worthless, should i seek a GED
I have ADHD and Autism, I am a rapid learner and hyperfixated on certain topics, partially Soil, Video game Universe Lore, Electronics, Tunnels and Rodents. rambling aside TLDR : i was put in an alternative learning location for being odd, I learned I could just not do anything and give my teacher a random number and avoid work, I used this until I graduated. I spent all my time learning about Physics and animals and Soil types. my interests dominated my mind, my school knew I wasnt doing anything they had the records online which I didnt know, they just didnt care. I graduated with a GPA of 2.5 but im quite a eccentric nerd, I just didnt like school, it was a source of bad memories and being ignored.
now i am 23, I feel it feels false, I feel if educated properly in a normal school i would have got much higher, I do not like how this turned out.
also yes American South schools are not good at understanding mental wirings being different
