Hallo allemaal, ik had laatst mijn rijbewijs gehaald en besloot om een nieuwe pasfoto te maken. Dit deed ik bij een zaak waar ik het ook voor mijn ID kaart had gedaan (deze is wel goed). Op mijn rijbewijs hebben ze de hele pasfoto uit verhouding getrokken (zie foto wat ik bedoel)! Mijn moeder had bij dezelfde toko een foto laten maken en deze is niet uit verhouding gehaald. Ik zie zelf dat het vakje op mijn rijbewijs voor het pasfoto ook wel dunner is dan op die van mijn ID kaart maar het ziet er echt niet uit, ik lijk er bijna niet eens meer op, mijn gezicht is zo dun en lang. Kan ik hier nog wat aan doen?

I’ve been experiencing all kinds of symptoms that I don’t know are side effects of the sertraline or withdrawals of the mirt. I’m barely sleeping, not eating. Sweating, tremors, very high anxiety and depression, racing panic thoughts of S.
I was on mirt for 3 months, briefly went up to 30mg but it never helped with my depression so decided to give sertraline a go again as I took it for a couple of years a few years ago. I was back at mirt 15mg for 2 weeks before missing a dose then starting sertraline 50mg the morning after.
I’m considering just throwing in the towel and going back on mirt and feeling like a zombie and crying most days

Hi so I'm not diagnosed with any adrenal insufficiency yet but I do have ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. But I've had low cortisol tests four times twice last year and then I had a normal sst. Then I got test again this year and my cortisol was low again but endocrinology won't see me again. I'm getting a lot of symptoms of AI such as abdominal pain, fatigue, nausea etc. I also have this weird skin happening and was wondering if this sounds like adrenal insufficiency to anyone?

Hey everyone,
About a month and a half ago, I had a steroid shot in my back. It helped for about a month, but after that, things went back to how they were. After the injection, I noticed some flushing in my face and upper body. I looked it up and saw it could be a side effect of the steroid, and although it’s not super common, it’s supposed to go away on its own—and it did.
Yesterday, I got the RF treatment on my L5-S1 joints. Today I’ve noticed the flushing again, just like after the steroid shot. I thought about being sensitive to lidocaine or it could be something else, like an autoimmune response but I’m not sure. I’ve also been feeling tingling or numbness in my inner right calf since the procedure. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a normal reaction?
I’m also wondering what to expect during recovery and how long does it usually take to feel the results?
Lastly, previous doctors had recommended I get the procedure done on other parts of my back, like L3-L4 and L4-L5. However, the pain doctor wanted to start with L5-S1 first and see how it works before deciding on the other areas. Does anyone know if it’s possible to treat multiple areas in one session, or does that carry more risks?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thanks so much!

Hi, I made many mistakes in my life. That’s led to me being a 22 year old high school dropout without much to move forward with. I don’t want to talk too long, but for context I was serially abused and raped by my father who committed suicide when I was a teenager. I did a lot of stupid things after his death, including dropping out. But lately things have been better. I’m greatly in love with poetry and routinely go to poetry events hosted by my local university. That led to me befriending a professor there, who has permitted me to come to his classes to spectate. He even finds the time to have conversations with me about important poets in my life, like Valéry, Iqbal, Milton, etc. He believes that I could accomplish much, which has benefited my self image. I’m working to get my GED. He wants me to move out to the east coast and go to college in the fall of next year, and that is precisely what I wish as well. But I’m running out of time. I feel still like a failure, having greatly messed up most things in my life. I just don’t find the drive to move forward, even though moving forward is what I think about the more than anything. I don’t want to disappoint this man, or spend another year accomplishing nothing. I need to pursue poetry to the best of my abilities. This starts with getting my GED. I’m worried as soon as I do, I’ll be back to achieving little. What are good ways to keep that momentum building and improve my chances of fulfilling my promise of applications to universities? I’d also appreciate some encouragement, or maybe someone to talk to please if anyone would like to. I keep hearing people bragging about working crazy amounts of hours at their jobs, so they can afford all the things that their kids need and want....but the irony is that then they are spending little to no time with their kids now, as they are putting pursuing money ahead of that.
Seems like if you have kids, you're screwed as trying to get that balance right is basically impossible.
