Ola maltinha, tudo bem?
Eu herdo um corolla e90 (acho que é esse o nome da geração ja ouvi muitas formas de referir ao mesmo mas é o corolla de 93) vai ser o meu primeiro carro, eu gosto bastante do carro tenciono em o manter e restaurar mas ele tem um grande problema, bebe muito, tem o motor 2E ainda a carburador com seus grandiosos 74hp e bebe por volta dos 13l/100
Ignorando purismos é legal eu fazer a conversão para a injeção eletronica? (Ou seja tornar o motor em um 2E-E) ou posso ter problemas na inspecção? Normalmente não me chatearia muito com isto mas como é para carro diario e sobre nenhuma chance quero ficar sem ele pergunto isto
Supostamente devia ser sendo uma opção na altura e isto faz com que o carro seja mais ecológico, mas como sabemos a logica não se aplica sempre quando estamos a falar sobre o que é legal ou não modificar no carro
Sei que no site do imt diz algumas coisas que da para averbar mas isto é algo muito especifico mas perceber se é legal, então dai eu pergunto aqui se é ou não, se alguem ja fez algo assim parecido ou assim
Pergunto tambem eventualmente quando entrar no processo de restauro/reforma do carro quero por discos atrás e abs (talvez adaptando de outro modelo da toyota da mesma altura), aproveito e pergunto tambem se posso fazer isso e manter o carro legal
Pergunto tambem sendo que quero fazer estas modificações perco as vantagem de carro classico, esta resposta parece bastante obvia (um grande não) mas pergunto à mesma só por curiosidade

See title. If the universe is 13 billion years old, and 13 billion years ago the universe was a singularity with no or virtually no diameter.
Since then we’ve had a big bang and a lot of expansion of the universe. When we look outwards into the distance we are looking backwards in time.
So if I look at a star 13 billion light years away in the sky to my left, and another star 13 billion light years away in the sky to my right, I’m seeing them as 26 billion light years apart but also as they were 13 billion years ago at which time they were much nearer each other if not actually co-located?

I (23F) want to switch my degree to nursing. I’m already doing my general studies (with a focus on science) in college while I figured out what degree I want to pursue. These past few months, nursing has stood out to me. I love the idea of working in Labor and Delivery and being able to support moms through the process of childbirth. I also really want to become a travel nurse later on. Once I get a couple years experience in my specialty. Here’s where the disagreement with my Boyfriend (23M) comes in. It’s not the fact I want to travel, that he’s upset with, it’s where I want to travel. While I named many places that I think would be cool for us to visit. he absolutely hated the idea of NYC and California, despite NEVER visiting there before. This surprised me because I’ve always talked about wanting to visit (I’m from a small town in the country). I’ve never seen cities so big and it fascinates me. I don’t want to permanently move there but like a 8 week contract in these places sounds fun. I would be able to do the career Im falling in love with while also visiting somewhere I’ve always wanted to see. My boyfriend doesn’t want to compromise tho. He said we can take a weekend to visit the city but that all he’s willing to do. This sparked a semi big argument that’s still sitting with me. he currently works out of town and I’ve never dictated where he can and can’t pick up jobs. I always try to be supportive of his career even when I miss him. To me, both us having travel jobs would be amazing, we can plan jobs in the same area. This gives us a chance to see new things as a couple while maintaining job security. While he agrees with this idea, he has strict rules about where he’s willing to visit. His unwillingness to even try to go to the places I want, really upsets me. I don’t feel like 8 weeks is long in the whole scheme of things? I’m willing to visit anywhere before we find a place to settle down. I just don’t understand why he wont at least try these places to make me happy? I feel like I’ve made sacrifices to make him happy and he won’t even consider the same.
Side note: I stay home when he’s out of town for work since I go to school & have a part time job. We both hate the distance but financially it’s the best option (plus he enjoys his job)
Added side note: I’m willing to go without him when the time comes but traveling by myself jseems really scary. Plus, We have never been away from each other longer than 2weeks so I don’t know how well either one of us would take 8 weeks apart.

I enjoyed Rise very much, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was presented in a chronological order. I had a tough time following the story because of how jumbled everything was. Even now that I finished, I still don’t feel like I fully grasp the whole story, unlike with Case. Anyone else? Thoughts?
Overall, the narrative in Case is tighter imo.
